    Inspiron 16 5625 bios

    Hello,

    I have this Dell Inspiron 16 5625 which is a 16-inch version of Inspiron 14 5425.

Upon powering on, computer keyboard lights up, the fans begin to spin and the cpu gets hot accordingly but no video. I suspect corrupted BIOS. The original BIOS file is attached.

Could someone, please fix it or perhaps I can try one of the bin files on this thread?

    Inspiron 16 5625
    Service Tag# BFTHJL3

    Thank you

I posted my response on the original board. I applied the new bin and the computer is working now. Thank you.

Is it possible for someone to change the service tag for me? I've tried the bios in post 3 and it's working fine but the customer wants the same service tag as before.

          Service tag needed is CC20SL3

          Thank you

Hello everyone! Can someone help me? My Dell Inspiron 16 5625 laptop when turned on the light is on, the fan is spinning but the screen is not on. I tried to download the Bios with Service Tag BFTHJL3, unlike my machine above, it starts but the Camera is not recognized. Can someone fix the original Bios file for me?

Hi, I just tried the file you just uploaded, but everything is still the same. Is it possible that I am doing it wrong?

After updating the bios, do I need to do anything else?

no need do anything, just write your servicetag and save, press Alt+F if in manufacturing mode. that's bios from official for your model, if camera didnt show you should check connector, cabble, camera,...

I removed the screen, checked the camera, the device is still original, the connection cables are clean and sturdy, it is unlikely to be a hardware error. After updating the bios, the device shows the logo and then a line appears at the top of the screen for about 1 second like manufactoring Fn + X or something and then enters Windows.

This model use AMD CPU, so easier than Intel CPU (repair old BIOS)
so, the BIOS from Dell Support is good with servicetag, or you can try to downgrade the BIOS version to check.
sometimes hardware can issue from BIOS update…

I also thought about downgrading Bios, but when I downgraded using USB, the current bios locked it and did not allow downgrading. I do not have the bin file of the previous bios version! Can you help me?
