Hi Guys, this is a v4 motherboard but i would have thought it's the same as the v3.
The problem with this is it's got a BIOS lock and asking for a password as soon as you boot the laptop. The customer has forgotten what he has set and has asked me to remove it.
Can anyone remove this lock for me or send me in the right direction.

Thank you for all your help but again it didn't work. On this version the fans don't come on straight away. Once the CPU and GPU get warm then they come on... Still no display, internal or external....Leave a comment:

Still no display, but on this bios the keyboard lights and fan come on and then after 10secs the laptop turns off. On the original it stays on all the time....Leave a comment:

Apple 820-02757 PMU clarification
I have an 820-02757 logicboard which has a shorted PP3V8_AON. I've narrowed this down to the PMU (343S00638) and ordered one from Ali. It was supposed to be brand new but as always it came with scratches on the top, second-hand reballed. The short has now gone but I'm getting no backlight and it's boot looping. The original fault was a shorted audio amp IC which I've changed. No liquid damage, board is in brand new condition.
My question is this, in the schematics under U7700 it gives me a list of different PMU's which all have different numbers on them. Will any of them work on this... -

Help in identifying a component- ASUS ROG G634J
I have an ASUS ROG motherboard and it has a shorted/burnt component which I'm struggling to find or identify.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
