Advice for the person that have RT809F

when you read a chip that isn`t supported choose a different chip with 512 capacity
use W25Q512NW that support 1.8v ...no 1.8V adapter is needed ....ignore check-ID

Thank you SMDFlea for your help

I guess I'ma just try to decap the chip tomorrow and look for the internal VCC pad lol
I’ve done this before on other damaged chips that come damaged but never did a WSON8

I has the same issue with the same chip. i think they purposely build it this way so no one can work on it.
I has to buy new chip to make it work

Yes they're making it kinda hard to remove by placing the ic in some tough places
I did order another IC too I'll just try to build a new bios by then since I can no longer read the old chip

Dell Latitude 5350 Ultra 7 Motherboard
                  by Julian Bailey
                  Hi

I have a Dell Latitude 5350 Ultra 7 Motherboard I am trying to repair that has a blown chip.

The chip is marked as eHOLH similar to the one I have pictured.

Any ideas what it does and what the pin outs are as 3 tracks have gone and need to find out what / where they went / did etc.

Dell PN of the motherboard is 08DCGW.

Below is the area I am trying to repair:

Does anyone have a picture of this motherboard in this area they could take and upload?

                  Cheers...

                  by Dobrowol
Hello. Ive got problem with Dell Latitude 3520. After power on, no display and fan goes crazy. Standard job, I exported a clean bios from update via pfs extract.

                  Steps i done and results:

I exported a clean bios from update file via pfs extract.

                  1. Build clean bios with clean ME, PMC, PCH in flash image tool.
                  Result: Dead

                  2. Build clean bios with no changes in ME, new PMC, PCH
                  Result: Dead

                  3. Build old bios with clean ME, new PMC, PCH
                  Result: The same
