It came with an XMC chip that I was forced to change because I needed it for another machine, but I made a backup of the BIOS, then I tried to put in a Winbound chip and it worked but it took a long time to turn on and it didn't recognize the SSDs, quite strange, I got another XMC chip and oh surprise now it was giving me colored screens, as if I had a corrupted ME, but if I try to clean the ME region it only gives me a black screen and 3 amber blinks and 6 white ones, I have tried...Leave a comment:

I solved it on my own, it turns out that version u71 01.11.05 or higher retains the password, I have downgraded the version to u71 01.10.00 using an ec, and a clean bios, it works perfectly, you just have to write the dmi information later with some mpm tool.
Here I leave you an ec and a clean bios of that version.
PD. Make sure your actual bios is U71 too...Leave a comment:

i think the trouble is with my bios version appears the same v77 from hp page but with another release date, y will try updating the bios to that version of the hp page
my version is V77 VER 02.07.02 08/12/2024 And The HP Website is V77 Ver 01.07.02 09/06/2024 i will try updating the bios first to taht version befoce test the patch....Leave a comment:
