I am now trying to replace the BIOS Region in my Dump by the BIOS downloaded from Lenovo.

I have identified the correct files for my machine (N2HETxxW) and found 2 files, FL1 and FL2.
As I assume, FL2 is for the EC and FL1 contains the main BIOS.

I just cannot figure out, what to do with the FL1 file. There are many guides out there, that start with removed a small section in the beginning and then ending up with the BIOS file. That does not work for me, since the FL1 is a lot smaller than the dump.

Could someone please provide a guide as to how to proceed with these files?

 Thanks in advance!

Attached is the Dump as well as the FL1 and FL2 files from the Lenovo Update Package.

by to5it0Need Clean BIOS/EC Bin File for Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e - Stuck with 0275 Error CMS

 Hello everyone,

I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.

This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.

I have opened the laptop and identified the main BIOS chip...2 Photos-

			by macabookHello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
🧩 Initial Issue- Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
- External display (HDMI) shows

by Loki_FidoHi everyone, hope everyone's having a great day.

 I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga Gen 3 for repair. (20LES3T900)
I looked in every corner and the laptop seems fine. Its pulling 500mA but no display, no noise, nothing.

So I assume its a BIOS issue. I downloaded the BIOS with CH341A and opened it on ME Analyser and didn't receive any errors.
Does this mean the BIOS is fine? making it a hardware issue?

I downloaded fresh BIIOS from the Lenovo site and used Hex Editor replace the Lenovo's BIOS into my BIOS region. But the file size ended up being...-

			by maesonHi dear Badcaps-Community,

Somehow an auto update, which I triggered before I left my laptop unattended, bricked my BIOS.
I was able to extract the 2MB BIOS and 16MB BIOS which I will attend. (CH341B black with NeoProgrammer 2.2.0.10)

The Device is a Lenovo Yoga L13 Gen3 and I was able to identify the following specifications:

Lenovo Yoga L13 Gen 3 AMD:
 Lenovo Modell: Type 21BB
 Artikelnr.21BB006GGE
 Seriennummer: PW0A6207
 AMD Ryzen™ 5 PRO 5675U
 Memory 16 GB DDR4-3200MHz

			by AYsysHello dear forum members,

I own two Lenovo Yoga X1 Gen 4 laptops. One of them had a touchscreen problem, and I tried to fix it by externally flashing the BIOS. Unfortunately, I didn’t save the original BIOS and accidentally flashed it with a faulty one. After that, the device stopped working completely.

I then had the idea to make a BIOS backup from the other Yoga X1 Gen 4 (same hardware) and flash it onto the non-working device.
Nothing was flashed here — the BIOS was only backed up.

I created the backup using a CH341A Black programmer and NeoProgrammer....-
