? tried to update OP, but my edits arent saving nor are my attachments ?.

They vanish after is press Save ? also after editing the post, other text is being wiped ? whats happening ? Pressing save on an edited post does not save changes made ?

[update] 15 mins later the forum started working again ... ? Ok, will try to update again OP.

Can you see any attachments on the OP at the top of this page ?

Admin, is there a glitch in the Matrix blocking my attachments ? its weird, because i can see the jpg image in my OP, but when i try and edit the post, its not there? And none of the .zip attachments I try to add will save ? (tried both Chrome and Firefox, same result) please advise

Hi, I am having a problem uploading any attachments to my post ?
When i edit the post, I see the option to attach file, I select a file from my computer. I repeat this for the remaining attachments. I then hit SAVE. After that , the post remains unmodified and no attachments are present ? (also tried using the "insert" option, same result. Am I doing something wrong ?
              • Attach files directly to your post instead of linking to external websites - cannot do at present due to problem above?
              please advise cheers

Attach the files to your next post,if that doesn`t work rename the attachment to some other name and see if that works.

My pc updated bios through Windows Update and I was greeted with BLACK SCREEN WITH CPU FAN MAX SPEED. I don't think there is even a screen signal, because it triggers my monitor for a couple seconds and then the monitor turns off. I tried the other outputs as well.
                    1. I tried clearing bios, resetting bios, removed the CMOS battery, removed m.2 ssd, wifi, and ram. Still black screen with CPU fan blasting.
                    2. I tried using the Lenovo BIOS CD and BIOS USB, but neither worked. At least I couldn't get anything to work.
                    3. I could only locate two chips that look like bios chips. Could someone verify this

Thinkpad t480s, completely dead after BIOS flash using CH341A programmer
                    by what_1282105
Following this guide (https://www.reddit.com/r/thinkpad/co...g_and_flashing) i re-flashed my t480s BIOS using an external (CH341A) programmer. The flash didnt work, so i reverted back to my BIOS backup successfully. The BIOS in the chip and the BIOS backup file are identical according to windows' file compare. The revert, however, didnt work: the only thing the computer does is flash the power button 3 times when AC power is connected. I've tried unplugging the CMOS battery, holding the reset button and holding down the power button- no signs of life....

                    Hi all,

as subject line says, I have a laptop that reboots after 30 minutes. Investigation leads me to believe that is due to intel ME as it happens everytime after 30 minute from boot, it just turns off, no overheating, nothing weird.
I found a lot of information about cleaning ME like this https://winraid.level1techs.com/t/gu...lization/31277 and this https://github.com/corna/me_cleaner
Anyway, first step is to dump the bios. I found the Winbond W25Q64FV chip on the motherboard, dumped it with flashrom over...

Dell 9010 MT BIOS Update Always Fails
                    by mikeybass
Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...

                    TONGFANG "GM7TG7P" Bios Password Problem?
                    by traxformania
                    Hello,

I'm using TONGFANG "GM7TG7P" model laptop for over 3 years and i'm entering the same bios administrator password everyday. My laptop has Aptio BIOS (American Megatrends, AMI).

But today it's not accepting my password. I'm %100 sure i'm entering the correct password.

I'm trying to reset my bios without success.

                    I tried :

-I removed the BIOS battery and main battery. Waited for a long time but it didn't work. They already stated in the user manual that the password will not be reset even if the batteries...
