Unfortunately, nothing has changed. There is no image on the screen or on HDMI, the laptop boots into Windows but without an image. This started after I updated the BIOS of the RTX 3060 6gb video card and did not make a backup copy. I thought that it should boot with the built-in AMD processor. I can physically unsolder the RTX3060 BIOS flash drive from the board, but what should I put in it? What can you advise?Comment

Also try ROG Keyboard Firmware Update tool, scroll down to "Hotfix"
https://www.asus.com/supportonly/g51...desk_download/
You may have to run it on older Windows 10/11 version
Issue may be secondary KBC firmware, it controls the keyboard and RGB lights
EDIT: Attached here, the one from ASUS website only has the firmware for G513IM (on the G513IH page...)Attached FilesLast edited by m1ch43lzm; 09-23-2025, 03:24 PM.Comment

by DynaxSCHi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).
I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. Tried with a similar board, but there are too much differences, and the stock BIOS is missing a lot of...11-17-2023, 10:56 AM -
by grimacelordHello,
I have spent the last hour on this and I guess this is just over my head, so here I am.
I have an ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI motherboard here that needs to have the BIOS updated in order to accept the latest CPUs.
The BIOS chips seem to come as a set of two: GD25B64ESIG and GD25B128ESIG. My guess is one of them is a fail-safe for the main BIOS? I really don't know. Or one of them is ME and other is BIOS? I don't know.
Anyway, I took dumps of both chips and then downloaded the latest update for this motherboard from ASUS's website...-

by jbonavitaHi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
Some issues
A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized
Things I tried
1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...-

Hi all, I've spent the past week digging through the forums and guides to try correct my foolish mistake of changing hidden settings while tinkering around, and to be honest my heads overloaded so I'm hoping you'll be able to help.
I used a tool called 'Smokeless-UMAF' to access usually hidden settings in the bios. I tweaked one or two 'safe' things but made the mistake of tweaking a lot of settings under 'USB/Thunderbolt Configurations' when I didn't know what they did. For...-

by ArkzGHey guys, I have an "ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA506NF (2021)" that's locked with a UEFI password, I need to reprogram the BIOS chip but can't find a clean ".bin" file for this specific model, I've tried the official BIOS updates from ASUS support page, but they're 32MB updaters that don't extract to a usable 2MB .bin file for direct chip programming.
What I currently have available:
- Model: FA506NF (2021)
- BIOS chip: GD25LQ16 (16Mbit/2MB)
- Tools: CH341A programmer ready to use
Does anyone have either a clean 2MB .bin dump of this model,...-
