Is your laptop windows 7 or 8? My laptop is 7.

i want to know, if the chip is 2mb and file is 2.53mb -will it work? sometimes we get an unmatched file size from website of hp, dell etc. will it work if we write the file into the chip?
please brief.

if you got 2.5 mb then the chip needs to be 4 mb to enter

Hi
I have a NP530U3C but it's don't boot and the F2 or F4 don't work.

Speaking with samsung service they say i need to reflash bios.
Now i have the Crisis software and the right bios file but i not able to reflash.
I make many tentative but nothing work.
Some one know the right procedure for this Samsung NP530U3c.

Thanks to this post I was able to relive my laptop after changing the bios chip and reprogramming it with the file published by khaahk. Does anyone know if after updating the bios to the latest available version, the problem to install linux was corrected? greetings from Argentina!
