Compaq presario v3000 WOnt boot after bios screen

I have a Compaq presario v3000, when the battery is in the computer wont boot with the power button, but when the power is connected it will boot by it self, can go to bios pressing F10, bios is working fine, after i save and exit. only flashing cursor appears. nothing happen after that. And the when i long press the power button i wont shut down. When i remove the battery and connect the charger the power button works (only to turn on, long press shut down wont work), but even in this scenario the computer wont pass the bios screen. And when i press quickplay button. it is turning on also. HELP

Try to re-seat the RAMs without the battery insert to see what happen.

        Blinking cursor= Corrupted MBR.

(And the BIOS is still trying to use it.)

            System BIOS: U94 Ver.01.08.00 10/06/2023

This motherboard has 2 similar chips. One is on the front marked with BIOS SKT "Winbond 25Q256JVEN" and one on the back marked with U351 "Gigadevice 25B256EYIG". I ignored the one on the back and only desoldered front chip. Made a backup, made sure the reading was the same with another 3 backups.

Asus ROG Ally X -RC72LA - changed hidden bios settings with 'Smokeless-UMAF', won't get past boot logo

Hi all, I've spent the past week digging through the forums and guides to try correct my foolish mistake of changing hidden settings while tinkering around, and to be honest my heads overloaded so I'm hoping you'll be able to help.

I used a tool called 'Smokeless-UMAF' to access usually hidden settings in the bios. I tweaked one or two 'safe' things but made the mistake of tweaking a lot of settings under 'USB/Thunderbolt Configurations' when I didn't know what they did. For...

Hi, I have a few of these & they came with a custom bios boot logo, no passwords etc.

2 x were brand new unused but with custom boot logo, 1 I installed Windows/ran updates then it bricked itself. 1 wouldn't get past the custom bios boot logo.

The third I loaded windows, took a backup of the bios chip, then tried to flash several different clean bios's via programmer which all caused it to not boot. I tried to reflash the original bios both using clip & desoldering but...

Bios partially corrupted somehow and now warm boot doesn't work which is critical
            by Neddsme
            Hie.
I own a Lenovo ideapad v310-15IKB with an i5 7th generation with only Intel graphics configuration.
Now the heart of the problem is that I don't know when or how it happened but I suddenly started getting distortion in the graphics output on the LCD. This basically meant a black screen full of flickering multicolored short horizontal lines. This would happen 30-60 minutes after booting and using it normally.
I run Windows 10 20H build so I thought it was just a Windows update issue or graphics driver outdated issue.
I managed to run Windows troubleshooting and...

Lenovo LOQ mdl 151RH8 bios Q: Can't get usb boot to list
            by Max029
I've searched and read Beginners guidelines and other sticky threads. This is just a simple bios question. If I may, I'm having trouble finding any help, including from lenovo tech support & forum, for how to get usb boot to list in boot options. I'm trying to run memtest86 so nothing as highfaluting as re-install, flash a bios, etc.

I've made usb boot enabled and secure boot is disabled. I can find no other option in bios ver LZCN34WW (the original bios). Would anyone here be familiar with LOQ or Legion bios versions & know what is going on?
