Hey, I have a Dell E6420, Service tag # D431Q61-1D3B. Need bios password.

I've tried many generators, ctr double click, cmos batt remove, hours on phone with dell support, etc. expired warranty=no service. I'd rather buy new laptop than give dell another $60$ they want.

I have SSD pass and computer does work. I only want to upgrade bios from A04 to A21. I don't feel comfortable shorting bios chip.

Anyone know how much the upgrade will actually help me? I only know it makes booting faster when SSD encrypted and makes it more secure from hackers. Both things I don't care about. I only use it for music production with Ableton 9. I have fresh win7 install, only important drivers installed, chipset,usb, ssd, video etc. Internet, internal sound card, iexplorer, winupdates, WMP, everything not needed disabled and removed. All that has helped me a lot, no freezing but I still have bad latency, audio drop outs, poping, and cackle noise. I have pro external sound card that works perfect with same settings on friends Sony with half ram.

It wont give me any hash number when i try enter wrong password multiple times.
