Hey, I have a Dell E6420, Service tag # D431Q61-1D3B. Need bios password.
I've tried many generators, ctr double click, cmos batt remove, hours on phone with dell support, etc. expired warranty=no service. I'd rather buy new laptop than give
dell 
another $60$ they want. I have SSD pass and computer does work. I only want to upgrade bios from A04 to A21. I don't feel comfortable shorting bios chip.
Anyone know how much the upgrade will actually help me? I only know it makes booting faster...
