Re: Toshiba c855-2gc flashing power light
Here bios for Toshiba C850D and brd + schematic for DK10ABX-6050A2509701-MB-A02 and DK10FG-6050A2491301-MB-A02
I had toshiba satellite c850d which had no power or lights at all.. 0.2v to bios chip and nothing to EC aswell when plugged in and power button pressed.
Problem was small mosfet near DC in, i tested it only had 150ohms and should have 400-600ohms, dont have schematic for the exact board but i hope this can help someone, if u have same problem ,take picture of power circuit and ill point it out might be it...

Re: DAOR75MB6CO REV:C Model: R75
sadly previous owner already clean it with alcohol so there was no visible signs of liquid damage on the board when i got it, i also ultrasonic it afterwards.
Didnt find any shorts from charger IC pads after i lift it but it gave no voltage to anywhere, only had vcc 19.5v

Re: MS-16F2 ver1.2 bypass shorted PCB , partially Solved
Ok thank you, no idea what caused this issue in the first place. ac adater wasnt bad and dc jack wasnt shorted, just suddenly trace from dc jack to resistors went bad
btw does bypassing pl1 pl2 pl3 straight to mosfet cause any issues later on?

MS-16F2 ver1.2 bypass shorted PCB , partially Solved
Have msi685 laptop which started smoking and not turn on when plugged to ac power. Replaced and soldered new dc jack but short was inside PCB and it continue smoking when plugged
Removed PL1 PL2 PL3 and PC88(NEAR DC JACK) and cut dc jack + pole from entering pcb, soldered wire from dc jack + pole straight to PQ27 pin 1 and 2
Laptop now booting up and screen ok but i have blown fuse on right ec67 and it has short on another side, dont have any schematics what could it lead to?...

Re: HP G6-1150EW(Intel) motherboard problem.
i had g7-1118so... shuttdown after few sec.. reflowed northbridge and gpu 220c and it start working. It makes no sence to me though why would it fix it.
Was ec bios on another chip in this board? bios file size on chip was smaller than bin from hp site or dumps i found. but problem wasnt that for me anyway just want to know.

Re: Hp pavilion dv6-2007so should i replace bios chip?
I can help you with private messages.

Re: Macbook 13" 2010 .brd not matching schematic.pdf
Try these,
also, did you test charger with multimeter and took logic board out and disconnect everything attached to it and try to boot from pads in the logic board first before further troubleshooting?...

Re: Hp pavilion dv6-2007so should i replace bios chip? (Solved)
solved
Looks like 2 blinks on dv6-2007so was bios problem afterall, tried reflow like 5x with no luck and then finally flashed bios with some dump i found on elvikom and flashed with programmer,
Booted finally and now only asking system information.. too bad i got rid of nearly all stickers cause of reflowing.. only have pcid , serial number and p/n number left to use in hp dmi tools, anyway to bypass rest?
uploaded working bios file here if someone needed, its for this...
