What method did you use to unlock this? I'm using RCUnlocker and it says I need to use a 16MB chip but this 32MB W25Q256JV chip is the only one I see. Thanks!

Hello, thank you for sharing, I have the same laptop with password, I flashed this one, it worked no more password on the other hand it is blocked in manufacturing mode, can you tell me what is the DMI so that I can modify the bios with the original DMI please, or unlock my bios if it is simpler, because RCUNLOCK does not work with 32MB

I would like to know why I always have the same problem, I tried several times, each time when restarting I always have the manufacturing message followed by a blank page indicating a product information not valid error. When I reopen the config file to redo it I realize that it is always on *unlock, so it is never saved

rename config.tkt (???) or read again with BCU bios settings and name your file config.txt Open file with notepad and edit it with name, CT, etc - provided by minhdigital move * from Manufacturing Programming Mode to lock - as minhdigital indicate in Note.txt, save as config1.txt (save it in Documents and move it in BCU folder) and use BCU to write file : biosconfigutility[space]/set:config1.txt

that's exactly what I did, but it starts without taking the modification, now it doesn't want to start normally, I must have done something stupid, it starts displays a hp sure smart recovery whitepaper error and turns off, I reflashed the original bios and it does exactly the same thing to me, it doesn't even boot on Windows anymore, it turns off after the error, can you clean the original bios please, I don't know what to do anymore

                                          Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

                                          Hello,

I'm using TONGFANG "GM7TG7P" model laptop for over 3 years and i'm entering the same bios administrator password everyday. My laptop has Aptio BIOS (American Megatrends, AMI).

But today it's not accepting my password. I'm %100 sure i'm entering the correct password.

I'm trying to reset my bios without success.

                                          I tried :

-I removed the BIOS battery and main battery. Waited for a long time but it didn't work. They already stated in the user manual that the password will not be reset even if the batteries...

                                          Hi guys,

I have acquired a HP Elitebook x360 1040 G5 laptop with the motherboard model BLURR-6050A2999101-MB-AX3(S3).
The laptop is actually engineering sample, as it displays this message on the boot screen: "Your system is not fully configured. pLease contact HP customer support.
Warning: This BIOS is Not for Production Use".

I had purchased a BIOS chip from ebay to replace the BIOS with the error message, but once installed in the motherboard in the WSON8 adapter, I think their technology "SureStart"...

With ASUS, not everything is quite so simple. I will show you my way. It may be longer or harder but it is the right way to do it in my humble opinion.

For example, you can have 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all being the same model, all of which will have different BIOS versions.

I will give you an example and my version of preparing BIOS from ASUS website and in the process I am always cleaning Intel ME while doing it so you have fully cleaned BIOS, no DMI data, no password, nothing.

This is the picture of 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all of them being X555LD...
