Continuing the saga of trying to unlock the password of these bios of this damn, I leave here my attempts, following the steps that I followed in this topic.
After buying 2 Chip MEC1503 on AliExpress, both came with defect, one was short and the other with password too!
So I followed the steps mentioned here and tried to read and write on this chip using a SAS (Vertyanov) and a unsuccessful RT809! The chip does not go out or read, but can be identified.
I leave here an updated image of how to enable the JTAG on this board, remembering that you have to insert all 5 resistors 10k that informs on the graph.
A colleague here from Forum ► MMCCOMPUTER says you managed to remove the T14 password! But he did not respond to colleagues of how it was done, may be keeping absolute secret, or may be the MEC1663 and not MEC1503.
I talked to a guy who does the service, he informs that it is impossible to read or write on MEC1503, and says it is done via patch, but just makes the machine in hand! It does not make the patch and deliver the file as it was done before.
In his video, in the own questions and answers he says this, for those who want to see ► Unlock Lenovo T14 Gen 2 ''MEC1503''
Any help is welcome ..Comment

Hi everyone!
I’m new here, so please forgive me if I make any mistakes!
I’ve been given a laptop that’s stuck behind a BIOS password, and I can’t install any OS on it. I’ve identified two chips that seem to be related to the BIOS:- A small 256-kilobit chip: 24256E (picture attached)
- A 1MB chip: Winbond 25080DVNIG (picture attached)
I’ve successfully dumped both chips using a CH341 programmer, but I’ve hit a wall trying to find the password in either of the binary files. I have a feeling it might not be possible on this laptop, but I’m eager to try anything at this point.
Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
I’ve attached both .bin files in lenovo_org.zip along with a few pictures of the chips.
Thanks in advance!

After installing the second MEC chip, the machine turns on normally, but I had an unfortunate surprise! The chip sent by the vendor has a password to access the bios! I was deceived! I'm going to dispute on Aliexpress because these chips are not cheap. I'm very frustrated with this whole situation, I wasted hours and hours of my time to get to this point! I can't believe I waited for 14 days to receive 2 MEC chips with different defects. If the adm authorizes it, I'll post the link to this larápio's store here!Comment

Can you provide me with a bios clean DMI so I can flash? I passed a clean ME and the machine kept asking for a password to enter. Can you clean one so I can test it?Comment

I post here my experience in this saga of removing the password from this damn laptop!
I bought again from another seller a pair of MEC1503 chips, after arriving I removed it from the same machine which I reported in this same post, and installed it, and the first chip when turning on the machine already gave me the option to enter the bios without asking for a password! Confirming so that you don't need to do anything that was said here, for example install dump with clean DMI! It worked perfectly!

Finally the laptop arrived, but it turned out it was not SVP but a locked drive, so no MEC "poking" needed. I am really sad because I bought in vain a pair of MEC1503s and their reballing stencil for the worst case scenario. 🙃 Nevermind, it 'll be useful when the next one come in. 😊

by GrafnusHey there,
first time posting here. I have been lurking a bit trying to find a solution but with little to no avail.
So I have a Lenovo ThinkPad P15 Gen2. When I got it (for free) it was turning on but not charging because the battery was unplugged. When I plug the battery in, the Laptop won't boot at all.
Specs:- Type: Lenovo ThinkPad P15 Gen2 20YQ-001KGE
- CPU, GPU, RAM work fine (not involved in the Problem)
So the first thought was to toss the battery and get a new one, as clearly the BMS is throwing errors or something.
Now I noticed... - Loading...
