Did ou try again the dump given by hoaca at post #36
I think that you try without cmos connected !
if yes , back the bios of hoaca , without charger without battery and without cmos press power button for 30 second
    try and give feedback

Hi Lapfix, first of all, thank you very much for your help!
I've performed both the BIOS reading and flashing without a charger connected, without the CMOS battery connected, without a battery, and
even with and without RAM installed. I've tried multiple methods, and the same thing happened every time. I press the power button.
The button lights up for a couple of seconds, then it turns off and won't boot. I've also tried the dump Hoaca provided me in post #36 again, as you mentioned. I even tried the dump you provided me again just in case.
It might have flashed incorrectly for some reason, but nothing worked. I've checked all the connections on the board, but everything is fine, and I don't think it caused a short circuit because I've always taken precautions and grounded myself with a wrist strap to avoid static discharge. Honestly, I'm a little worried and frustrated. The only thing I haven't tried is the exact 30 seconds, but I have been holding the button for several seconds, but it hasn't worked. It always does the same thing: the button lights up, then turns off after a couple of seconds, and nothing. Honestly, it's very frustrating...

Well, I waited the 30 seconds and nothing, the PC is dead, I'm starting to think that I have no solution, in addition, only the As programmer 2.1. 2 program is the only one that searching for the XMC25RH256C chip lets me do a dump and flash, I tried the Hoaca dump again and it didn't work, after doing the flashing, it decided to check the flash verification and it gave me a data verification error, but the flashing was done correctly, I'm starting to think that I don't know if the original reading I did is correct since I haven't been able to do any other readings, I don't flash with other versions of programs or with As programmer or with Neo programmer since they don't have this BIOS chip XMC25RH256C in the database and I'm not sure if the verification should not give any errors, I flashed again and the flashing was done correctly but the verification gave me a reading error, I tried with another programmer CH341a that I have it and the same thing; flashing is fine, but verification gives an error when reading, so I don't know what else to do. I hope you can give me a solution...

Well, I finally got it thanks to you all. I want to thank each and every one of you; Hoaca388, lapfix, danito, and especially SMDflea, who has been very patient with me. In general, thank you all for taking the time to answer my questions and helping me. The problem I was having was a flashing error. I tried several times, but it turned out it wasn't done correctly. Finally, with one of your clean images, it worked. Thanks again to all of you, and I hope to continue learning a little more with your help. A big hug, and see you soon!

the serial you provided is for ThinkBook 14 G2 ITL. And your bios has already a clean ME so it's not original dump of your machine.

Hello guys. Seeking for your help. My frends son dropped lenovo thinkbook 15 G4 from bed. Laptop stopped working. Turns on with no picture. Lights on, fan on, charging fine. All voltages present. Although charging coil and driver is bloody hot, going crazy hot is also area around onboard ram, strange.. Tried reflow onboard RAM. RAM has glew. Didnt help. Have none experience with these new laptops. Can I flash any bios on it or must be original from factory, because of the S/N or others? Should I disable onboard RAM? Could be damaged or I damaged it with reflowing. Dont have original flasher socket for the bios chip so I had to solder wires to connect to CH341. So I would like to do succesfull flash on the first shot, I am half blind and old, hands shaky......

Display is good, LVDS good, all connectors checked....
The board is not ON, CAPS lock is dead and ESC ligt is on....
Laptop is restarting in almost periodical manner...
I went on with disabling SPD on original bnios and end up with only 1 fan spin by the first power button push.
Second push is 3 x fan spin and off......
                      Thank you for suggestions...
I think...it looks like corupted bios....
Can I prosede with bios from different laptop...
I do not care about serial number.
                      Thanks a lot for reply.

Thanks a lot for the bios. I flashed it with no success. Also used SPD removal tool. Still not working. I had 10 ohms on RAM coil. Removed all onboard chips. Now I have 1,2 ohms on the coil. Laptop starts for few seconds. On RAM coli I have 1,2 volts. All voltages present.

I flashed bios 4 times. Disaabled onboard ram with app removal, then disabled ram with pull down resistors. Always ended up with same symptoms, laptop on but no picture, capslock dead and esc light on, charging fine turn on fine. Then i realised that checking the coil resistance would be a good idea. All coils were good except RAM coil. Although I had 1,2 volts on it but the resistance was 10 ohms. So I injected 1,2 on that coil but nothing was warming up and current that drew was 0,9 amps. Then I disoldered onboard ram but resistance on the coil was still 10 ohm. Later on the resistance dropped to 1,6 ohms. Then I removed heatsink and with injected 1,2 volts to ram coil the cpu was warming up. So the cpu is dead. Maybe from beggining or I might burn it when I was reflowing onboard RAM or when i remove the ram chips. Nevertheless, the owner a month ago. hit the laptop with his fist so hard that I had to replace the keyborad along with palmrest that was cracked and disconnect the fingerprint sensor that was shorted, 6 months ago he damaged somehow the charger and last accident was that he dropped the laptop from a bed. Then he brought the laptop to a computer shop and were doing something on the board stating that the "IC PM- IC" is damaged. That was a bullshit, because I checked all the voltages and they were present. So maybe the serious fault was already there or beacause the guy hurried me to fix the laptop for the 3rd time and I screw up. So for me atleast good experience to check voltages BUT also resistance on the coils. I spent 5 days working on it with nerves and no fix. Sad. Thank you hoaca388. Thank you peste. Thank you for your support.

Dear friends., this Lenovo ThinkBook 15 G4 was 100% working fine till I started to test one USB Power Delivery and USB Type C chip TPS65994AD/AE . The one which I was testing made the motherboard totally dead. Then I re-balled & soldered the Original 100% working TPS65994AD/AE, now it just stuck on 5V. I think the supporting EEPROM U15 program might have got corrupted. Does anyone have the BIN files for U15 (CAT24C256) chip from a working motherboard HLXA4 LA-L931P. I would be very thankful to you guys.

I need a BIOS dump for the Samsung S49CG934SU monitor
                                            by Habble7
The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

                                            Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

Hi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).

I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. Tried with a similar board, but there are too much differences, and the stock BIOS is missing a lot of...

This laptop is the same laptop I was working on in this thread and I wasn't sure if I should post a new topic or post in that thread because I already solved the issue that thread was discussing and this is a completely different issue although it is dealing with the same laptop. I decided to make a new thread since it's a new issue, but please move if I made a mistake.

Who has a MSI Z590 PRO WIFI - Need BIOS dump ?
                                            by DynaxSC
                                            Hi,

I need a BIOS dump for MSI Z590 PRO WIFI from a real physical board, along with MAC address and serial no.

It must be a dump from a physical board, as it contains personalized data eg. MAC Address, UUID, Serial no.

I have a board which has lost the BIOS contents, I have the MAC and serial to this board, and need to insert it into the another BIOS image. To do it, I need to have a real image from a real board, as the images from the MSI site are without this data. The only way to find where MAC/UUID/Serial is located in the BIOS is to have a bios...
