DELL XPS 9315 bios dump needed

Hi. The main bios is now corrupt after the unsuccessful update so i dumped it to use the ones in the forum. The original dump is not turning on the pc.
The one i got from the forum turns it on, fan spin but no display even on the external monitor. I tried cleaning it but UEFI tool and intel FiT can't decompose it. It says "File does not contain Intel Engine/Graphics/Independent Firmware".

Any assistance will be appreciated

Before all attempt to your bios , try another LCD panel or its connection to the system board.

Hi, I need to dump the XPS 13 9315 ST:97R5JR3 BIOS, after update stuck at Dell logo can't boot to windows. try to reinstall windows also can't boot.

I’m dealing with a firmware issue on a Dell XPS 9315. After PopOS build in firmware update tool found and install the BIOS v1.29.1, the laptop started showing TPM errors on boot:

• Alert! TPM could not be initialized.
• Alert! TPM device is not detected.

Since then, the TPM is completely missing in BIOS and in the OS.

Here’s what I tried so far:

• Downgrade is blocked because BIOS 1.29.1 is marked as “critical.”
• Reflashing the same version does not help.
• Left the laptop without battery for a week – no effect.
• Updated to BIOS 1.31.0 – problem persists.
• Dell support is useless – they only suggest paid motherboard replacement, even though the bug was clearly caused by their own BIOS update.

From the motherboard diagram, the TPM chip seems directly connected to the BIOS chip and loads its firmware from there. My suspicion is that the TPM firmware region in the BIOS got corrupted during the update.

I dumped my current BIOS and also tried patching it with 8FC8, but no luck. I’m attaching my BIOS dump here in case someone with more experience can take a look and maybe correct the corrupted region.
Laptop service tag is: 5360B24

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

pos5t merged..next time look for a thread with the name and model, motherboard model of the laptop, and post there, if you can't find it, then make a new thread..

I notice something strange with the bios setup GUI for v1.31.0 in windows, Backup Embedded Controller has the current version 1.8.1 and the installer version is 1.0.9. Maybe the linux firmware utility installed a bios that was made for this platform but not exactly this motherboard?
