I Need virgin bios extracted from dell exe. I tried to merge bios region from the extracted bios exe but it fails to turn on.

Problem :Getting battery warning-cant be identified. Using a dell original 1V1XF battery. Have replaced 2 batteries and both gives same warnings. Tried a couple of bios from this forum but same error. Thats why i want a virgin bios which will flash EC .

SDA/SCL activity on battery connector checked with DSO and its fine. battery detect pin is going from 3V to zero when battery is connected.

[REQUEST] Dell G3 3579 BIOS Password & AMI Protected Range/BIOS Guard Unlock
                                        by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

Dell Latitude 5530 BIOS Password Removal Attempted but I Broke the Laptop
                                        by TopPop
Sorry for the long story. I have a Dell Latitude 5530 (i7) laptop (South Peak 15 MLK MB DDR4 203102-1 FK8VG$JA) with an admin BIOS password that I want to remove. Service Tag: HYKFPT3. Other than that the laptop worked OK.

I found a CH341A Black and went looking for the BIOS chip on the motherboard. After trying to read one chip that was a firmware chip but not the BIOS I think I found the BIOS chip labeled Winbond 25Q256JVEN. Altogether I think I found 4 different firmware chips in the laptop. The BIOS chip is a WSON8 6x8. I used the CH341A, NeoProgrammer, and a cheap pogo pin clip...

Dell 9010 MT BIOS Update Always Fails
                                        by mikeybass
Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...

Dell XPS12 9Q23 board – no POST after BIOS corruption, now unstable after crossflash
                                        by kantusjack
                                        Hello,

I am troubleshooting a Dell XPS 12 with motherboard 9Q23 (Compal LA-8821P) that failed during a Windows 10 update. The system powered off abruptly and never booted again. Initial behaviour
                                        • No display at any time (internal or external)
                                        • Power button would immediately shut the system off
                                        • System auto-powers when AC adapter is connected (battery removed)
                                        • Beep code: 3 beeps – pause – 3 beeps (continuous)
                                        • Fan never spins
This behaviour suggests that POST starts but fails very early in initialization. On this platform, 3 beeps are generally associated with system board / chipset...
