Lenovo Legion S7 15ACH6
Serial Number: PF31VQ4K
Motherboard Model: BM5070_V1.4
Edit: Found the On Board RAM Disable script; Fingers crossed that this works.
Edit2: Did not work. All voltage rails are present but CPU and GPU do not get hot. No shorts are present and resistances on all rails are good. Using known good slotted RAM and the fans spin with keyboard lights, but no POST.Last edited by ResoluteHawk; 11-30-2024, 02:10 PM.Comment

I put the BIOS that you posted through the disable RAM script and flashed it; I'm still running into the same problem.
If this script is actually doing what it's supposed to be doing, then I'm likely running into a problem with a dead chipset/APU, but this diagnosis doesn't make sense since all voltage rails are present with good resistances.
CPU and GPU are getting slightly warm but nowhere as hot as they should be for system power on, and the system is running for 5+ minutes. CPU and GPU VCORE voltages are present.
I have no other ideas at this point.Last edited by ResoluteHawk; 12-02-2024, 09:20 AM.Comment

Thanks for the reply.
Just to clarify: this laptop has already been through multiple repair shops, and several different BIOS files have been flashed to it — none of them worked. Unfortunately, in the country I live in, getting access to verified BIOS files is very difficult due to various limitations.
At this point, I'm only looking for a verified, clean BIOS dump that exactly matches my machine:
- Model: Lenovo Legion S7 15ACH6
- Serial Number: PF2XWM03
If you or anyone else has a known-good dump from a working unit of the same model, I would be truly grateful. Honestly, I had given up on this laptop — but today I decided to give it one last try and reach out here for help.
Thanks again for your time and support.Comment

Legion S7-15ACH6 Laptop (Lenovo) - Type 82K8
SN: PF375S3Q
Motherboard Model: LENOVO LNVNB161216
Bios Version: HACN46WW
Hi,
If possible, may I request the previous BIOS version? Right now, my laptop is unable to detect peripheral devices on both USB-C ports on the right side. I have already tried many things, such as updating drivers, performing a soft reset (holding the button for 30 seconds), and installing a fresh copy of Windows.
The odd thing is, I’m still able to use USB-C to charge the laptop with a 100W charger. Also, if I connect a USB-C hub powered by a 100W supply, I’m able to use peripheral devices. However, when in the BIOS settings, the USB-C ports are unable to detect anything.
Thanks in advance.

Do you have other USB-C ports? Does it work on those?Legion S7-15ACH6 Laptop (Lenovo) - Type 82K8

I don’t have other USB-C ports on this laptop—only the two on the right side, and both are experiencing the same issue. The USB-A ports at the back are working fine. Since this problem started after the BIOS update, I would like to request the previous BIOS version to check if that resolves the issue.Comment

https://download.lenovo.com/consumer...s/hacn42ww.exe
https://download.lenovo.com/consumer...s/hacn43ww.exe
The trick is to rename the download link, sometimes that won't work anymore as Lenovo removes old versions from their website
But I don't think it's a BIOS issue, it may be hardware problem such as dirty/oxidized contacts/moisture on the ports themselves, get a USB-C voltage testerLast edited by m1ch43lzm; 09-04-2025, 11:00 AM.Comment

Hello,
I have a Lenovo Legion S7 15ACH6 that was interrupted during a BIOS update and is now bricked. Symptoms: fans spin, RGB keyboard lights up, but no display/POST.
The BIOS chip is a Gigadevice GD25LR128. I’m using a CH341A with a 1.8 V adapter. In AsProgrammer I selected GD25Q128 (since GD25LR128 isn’t listed) and successfully made a dump (BiosDump2_pf3eg12j.rar).
My understanding is that I’ll need a known good BIOS dump for this exact model, ideally matched to my laptop’s serial number (PF3EG12J), and that the Windows license key/serial should also...-

by grimacelordHello there.
I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.
History:
1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.
I searched for this error online and discovered...-

Attached is the BIOS dump from the laptop and the latest BIOS update from Lenovo.
I searched and I don't believe this particular bios has been posted. I attempted to the follow directions
on the BIOS guides page but I am brand new to this and the update file doesn't seem to match
the bios dump in size so I am at a loss on what to do to...-
