hello everyone, I have this laptop that flashes continuously when switched on, it would seem a cpu problem because a 1 slow flashing is seen on the capslock key
Is there a chance that you can do something with this type of error?

Processor not executing code.
Do you have its original bios dump ?
Already tried rebuild and clear me?

yes I have my bios original dump and I have already tried to flash my bios with another one but it always does the same

You have not provided any measurements. So its impossible to suggest anything based on symptoms only.What rails are coming up after turning on and what's missing-thats important to understand.

Meanwhile, I analyzed the motherboard with a thermal imaging camera and noticed a temperature spike here when I turn on the PC

I'm wondering how caps lock is blinking. It seems your mb is even not turning on. Lets start with basic measurements.

01.PU101 pin1/4/5/6/20 voltage.
02.Pu301, pin14/15 voltage.

All these measurements are perfectly correct. So it must be charging battery.Right?? IS it turning on when power switch is pressed??

Have you tried flashing BIos??

yes, if I connect the battery it recharges with the orange LED

i tried to flash the bios already and i have a clean bios in this thread (https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...59#post1175959) but it always blinking 1 caplocks

You are powering the mb with adapter or Dc supply?? If later, Your dc supply will give a value of current consumption like 0.009 which means 9mA current. Interested in this reading.

So mb is not turning on??You have not clarified on this?? Since RSMRST# is 0 and this remains 0 in off condition on many mb and gets to 3.3V only after turning on. So wantsed to be sure if RSMRST# at 0 is ok or not on this platform in off condition.

until now I used the original HP power supply and the laptop turned on even if it got very hot as I showed the photos with the thermal imager in the previous posts

I measured RSMRST # when I turned on the pc and I see 3.23v

but now I'm worried: I tried to power the laptop with my stabilized power supply, when I connected the connector there were 0.00A of absorption, I still tried to turn it on and the fan was spinning and warming up the motherboard just like before with the HP power supply. Then I turned off the power supply and from that moment every time I try to turn on the notebook, the power led lights up, the fan stops spinning and after a few seconds the notebook turns off

maybe the high temperatures on some components have given way?

I don't seem to have done anything strange

however all the measurements I made before are the same even now (PU101, PU301, LID SW#, EC_RST# and PCH_RSMRST#)

RSMRST # when I turn on, the pc always gives 3.23v but now after a few seconds it turns off

What is the status of PCHPWR_EN/SYSON/SUSP# for the brief seconds when it turns on. You have to find out the point where to measure,keep the dmm probe on that point and then turn on to measure as it turns off for few seconds only.

To me it seems SUSP# will be the issue here. Lets find out.

PCH_DPWROK status when powered on?? Check DC3/DC4.The reading on Post#19 are all ok. I dont have any further ideas and too me it seems like Dry PCH. If you have the necessary tools and expertise, reballing the SOC is worth trying. Do you have a bga rework station?? If yes, then warm the SOC on bga machine upto 225 degree with lot of flux. Dont use a hot air gun to warm up the SOC-it may be killed.
