HP LA-C701P REV 1.0 does not trigger

HP LA-C701P REV 1.0 does not trigger after shutdown. However, when we remove the adapter and plug it in, it gets triggered.

    1) is the power adapter the original and recommended model for this unit ?

    2) see attached -> measure the voltage on the 2 x DCin mosfets used by the charger IC to power the logic board.

Meter in DC volts mode (30v or higher is ok).

Red meter on each pin to test; black to ground.

    Check source (1-2-3); gate (4); drain (5-6-7-8) of each mosfet @ PQ202 & PQ203.

Post each measurement for a review.

      Check voltage on power button.

        thanks everybody
PM_SLP_SUS# did not exist. We noticed that there is liquid contact on the motherboard. We carefully examined that area. We noticed a disconnected line on the back of the CPU. We repaired the line. that is all.

Dyson DC45 trigger board burnt brush motor driving SO8 IC
            by martonmiklos
            Hi fellows,

I am trying to repair a Dyson DC45 battery powered hoover.

There is a trigger board in it which hosts an Attiny48 and some power stage to drive the brush motor.

Unfortunately a SO8 component burned to hell in it together with a 0603 resistor and the IC could not be identified.

The Attiny output looks to be survived the problem because when pulling the trigger it outputs high for a while and then turns off.
It is likely that it measured the current on the R10 shunt and this is why it is shut down.

            I have attached...

            Lenovo Ideapad 3 15IML05 MB : GS452/GS552/GS752 NM-C781 not trigger
            by kamel
Hi Ideapad when Plugged in 3.3vALW and 5vALW are on, but 1.05vALW and 1.8vALW absent. Power led lights and remains always on and laptop not trigger..
Found a burned spot on LV5075B IC, replaced with a new imported IC, but 1.05vALW and 1.8vALW still failing. .
EC IT8586E working voltages and signals are all ok except PBTN_OUT# 2.44V not changing when power button is pushed and EC_RSMRST# always 0.1V ??
Reflashed EC IT8586E and Main bios with newly download dump from Lenovo site to no avail.
Should I fix again a new L5075B and replace IT8586E to solve the issues....

Hisense H50N5300UK reboots when showing full red images
            by Track4207
Hi all! A bit of an interesting and unusual problem: as the the title suggests I have a Hisense H50N5300UK that reboots when showing fullscreen solid red images (and some other solid colours, but red generally causes the issue the fastest). I first came across the problem assuming it was an intermittent issue, but later lucked into finding out that a title sequence of a show I watch happened to trigger the reboot.

            What happens:
            • TV appears to operate normally, for an indefinite amount of time until a problem image appears
            • The problem image is displayed very briefly, then the

            purpose of DDR_DRAMRST# and MEMRST#?
            by stinkingshoe
I'm new to BoardReader and schematics.
I did, however find a schematic for my board here:
            Code:
            https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubleshooting-hardware-devices-and-electronics-theory/troubleshooting-laptops-tablets-and-mobile-devices/schematic-requests-only/91332-la-j801p-schematic-acer-a315-56
If I trigger a system restart by shorting CC20 to ground, system memory is wiped clean (Memory dump is mostly: AF AF AF AF AF AF hex values).
However, if I click restart the machine via software, artifacts persist in memory and there is no AF AF AF at all.

            This leads me to...

nacon ps4 wired controller faulty LED and trigger pot
            by jetuaime81
I have a nacon controller which has some fancy RGB ring (4 RGB LEDs). 3 of 4 leds are not good and I am looking for a replacement. The size I measured is 3mm x 2.5mm and it seems a 3528 led would fit fine, and it's in common anode. But I am not sure what wattage it is. I have attached photos of led and driver ic (ak63rq1 I think).

Also one of the triggers is malfunctioning sometimes, I don't know what these pots are called. I measured across the 1st and last legs (in circuit) seems to be 1.1kohm pot. I found some xbox controllers have this but they are 10k. Any info?...
