Identifying single cell Li-ion charger IC
I am trying to repair an Autec A08 remote which does not turn off and depleting the battery
I spotted a burn mark on the li-ion charger IC what I removed, and after the removal the power ON LED is no longer continously on, however it does not turn on at all.
I traced the enable signal of the VBA - 3V3 DCDC LM3674 converter and it is wired to the charger IC through some passive network.
Likely to disable the power for the MCU/RF part during charging in the bay.
After investigating the IC further I got to the following:
The markings were barely...

Dyson DC45 trigger board burnt brush motor driving SO8 IC
Hi fellows,
I am trying to repair a Dyson DC45 battery powered hoover.
There is a trigger board in it which hosts an Attiny48 and some power stage to drive the brush motor.

Unfortunately a SO8 component burned to hell in it together with a 0603 resistor and the IC could not be identified.
The Attiny output looks to be survived the problem because when pulling the trigger it outputs high for a while...

This is an EC10011(C) board:

As you can see there is no details of the MCU or power module or whatsoever on the block diagram, however other than the 3F filtering it hosts an MCU with communication interfaces and driving a bunch of relays.
If I power up through Phase 3 (via L3A & Neutral) it powers up the mentioned HC0303-1B.
On heat camera...

Yeah mine is not present on the tanya, just on Issuu from where it is not possible to download just as an image...
https://issuu.com/paulomoreno_dtp/docs/service_manual_esie14-01
However it does not have any details about the board level repair.
Sourcing is one thing from Aliexpress, I would like to understand how it should work.
If I apply the 5V to the 7805 output the board low voltage part starts living: heartbeat LED blinks, service LEDs reacts to buttons.
However I do not know if the power module should be powered up by...

Thank you so much!
Unfortunately my google-fu failed again, because Matsishita/Panasonic + AC DC converter or hybrid IC does lead to any relevant results...

HC0303-1B
Hi folks!
I am trying to repair a Daikin air conditioning unit's filter board where I came across this ceramic coated IC:

It is likely an AC-DC power supply converter,...

Identifying QFN16 3x3 mm buck DC-DC Li-ion charger
Hi folks,
I am trying to repair a Braun Silk Epil 9 series motherboard.
The on-board single cell Li-ion DCDC charger IC is defective.
It runs from 12V, and when it starts charging it brings my bench PSU CC.
I have drawn a reverse engineered symbol for it, does anyone could identify it?
I used up all my google fu with qfn16 li ion and dcdc keywords, but I have not found any pinout compatible one. Given the product's likely high volume production rate I also filtered LCSC's offering ot the 16 pin QFN DCDC and li-ion charger controllers, but no luck so far....

Re: Bn44-00807a - samsung ku mu ju power supply - fix
Hello Hamie,
Many thanks for sharing this information, you saved me from great amount of troubleshooting!
Before the diode replacement the television "bootlooped" (shown Smart TV over and over), so I thought it is going to be a software issue.
Now the device works, however backlight seems to be blinking a bit, sot there is going to be some further investigation.
