    HP 15-la c701p turn on but no post

    Hello friends

    Model: HP 15-la c701p turn on but no post at internal and external .
    All voltages are present on its coils, consumption is :
    with ram = 0.342 amp
    without ram = 0.331 amp


    I have these measurements:

    RTC section :
    JCMOS1 = PCH_RTCRST# =3.018v
    JME1 = PCH_SRTCRST# =3.019v

    KB9022QD
    LID_SW# 3.07v (EC pin 115)
    PCH_RSMRST# 3.02 (EC pin 100)
    PCH_PWROK 3.3v (EC pin 32)
    PLT_RST# 3.3v (EC pin 13)

    Ram Measurements :
    +1.35V_VDDQ = 1.362v
    +0.6V_0.675VS = 0.681v
    +V_VDDR_REFA_DQ = .683v
    PCH_SMBDATA = 3.3v
    PCH_SMBDATA = 3.3v
    DDR3_DRAMRST 0v....must be 1.35v

    Trace DDR3_DRAMRST until RC308 ( pull up resistor ) : got 1.35v from only one side ; 0v from the other side...the ohm value is correct .

    Try 2 official bios same issue ; other ram too.

    What to check else ...thank you

                  UC10 :
                  pin 2 = 1.363v
                  pin 5 = 1.3.63v
                  pin 4 = 4.95v
                  QD1 :
                  Drain and source = 1.363v
                  Gate = 4.95v

                      Both these measurements are fine. Since you have already flashed bios from hp site, Cpu part of the SOC is very likely to be faulty.

                              Strange , got another same motherboard with same behaviour : no post.

                              But in this case DDR3_DRAMRST is present = 1.35v ..the 21 power sequence steps are all presents.

                              Try clean me and repairing bios still same , consumption is =

                              With ram = 0.740 amp
                              Without ram = 0.600 amp
                              Notice when on the fan spin high without stoping.

                              step of communication between CPU and bios called POST is faulty !! any other idea to be sure!

                                  Hello, i have some issues with my laptop Lenovo Y700-17ISK (motherboard BY511 NM-A541), it started when i turn on the laptop, but the lcd wont turn on, i then connected it via hdmi to tv and screen was ok.                                   Hi everyone,

                                  I am dealing with the problem of turning on and off my Dell e7470 notebook.

                                  The battery charge light is solid white, I press the button, the power indicator and the light on the button are solid for 1-2 seconds and immediately turn off.

                                  The system does not turn on, there is no post.

                                  I removed the RAMs and changed them, changed the battery, RTC battery, AC adapter, removed them and waited, tried again, it does not turn on.

                                  i got this laptop with no power issue....i flashed the bios and laptop can turn on and use normally....but when i shut it down and rest for few minute (2-3 minutes), it wont turn on....i have to flash bios again...any idea what is the problem?...when i shutdown and suddenly press power button to turn on, it will turn on normally....problem happen when i rest the laptop 2-3 minutes after shutdown, it will not turn on....i need to flash bios again
