The caps key LED toggles? If yes, the OS is booting - allow for the normal boot time and then attempt the pressing of the caps key toggle. The keyboard backlight will enable if the ALS sensor notes the room to be dark. That is my understanding. Disconnect the trackpad if it is connected and continue to test. You can try a SMC bypass in which case the sensors will be ignored and the fan should go crazy high on fan spin - that is normal. See if that works for you. No reactions from caps key, only diode on hub tells me that laptop is on, no reactions when I try to do smc bypass, but what I discovered is problem while doing pram reset, I think it should turn on and do reset or something, but nothing happens. what do you think?
PS shuold battery be connected during smc baypass?
