my vertyanov jig wont work, Lenovo NM-273

    Hello.
I have problem with my Vertyanov JIG v3.3 that wont work.
I test it with NM-273 which works correctly. connection test with JIG works ok, but when i connect board JIG cannot check connection with board

Im using SW from this site, but windows tells me it is Trojan in it. I dont care so i turn defender off, but still no connection to IT8586E. Board is powered, GND cable is connected.

        Hello KTM.

Check all connections and also check for power supply for kbc +3valw. Sometimes you just need to press the power buton once prior preograming to get it to work. I know it sounds nonsence but try it.

Option 2 is to remove PR337 and connect the PU904 jumper contacts to get that 3v.

Most of the problems aren`t with the programmers.Use a very short gnd cable and check the KB connector closely ,is it 0.8MM or 1MM ,sometimes its hard to tell. This model can have a problem if the bootloader gets corrupt. To solve it GPG2 has to be pulled high for the mirror function to work, see page 44 in the schematic ,after you moved the resistor attach the charger it will pull code from the EC in the bios but not all of it, then unplug charger, move resistor, attach JIG and then you should be able to program it fully.EDIT: not all chips support that mirror function.

For Badcaps Readers, Please note that I am hopefully going to present this same message to Lenovo to see if they have any insight to the matter as well and figured to share the entirety here for clarification. The System is out of warranty as it is but does have the option to have it extended.

lenovo 330s-15ikb, led num lock key always on and numbers don't work
                  by resistor83
hello everyone, I have a particular problem with this lenovo ideapad 330s-15ikb. I had to replace the motherboard due to liquid damage, after replacing it I noticed that some letters on the keyboard do not work. So I bought a new keyboard and now all the keys work except the numeric keypad area. In practice the num lock key LED always remains on and the numbers do not work. Has anything like this ever happened to you? I also tried changing the keyboard again but the same defect remains on the numeric keypad.

I tried updating the bios but the problem remains

NM-C741 Lenovo L15 Gen 1 Touchpad and Trackpoint don´t work
                  by master3112
I have a Lenovo L15 Gen 1. The touchpad and trackpoint on the device are not working. Not even in BIOS, so it's not a driver issue. The touchpad is enabled in BIOS. When I run Lenovo Diagnostics for Windows, the touchpad is not even recognized. I have already updated BIOS, without success. VCC is present on the touchpad connector.
                  Does anyone have any ideas?
                  Thanks

Lenovo Legion 5 15ARH05H, NM-D281 Rev: 1.0 not work with the battery
                  by dhs6512
                  Hello. Lenovo Legion 5 15ARH05H, NM-D281 Rev: 1.0 board
Initially dead. Inspection: the board was not touched, on EC IT8227E-192 2101-CXA there is a mini-burnout.
Replaced with the same one, flashed the EC with the official firmware (had to solder to the pins), left the main firmware (Gigadevice 25LB128DSIG) original.
When connecting the charger, the device started, gave picture and works, checked all the functions - ok.
Connected the original battery. Only on the battery the device starts for a second, lights up the keyboard backlight and turns off.
                  When connecting...

Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 15ARH7, Keyboard Backlight and fans work but no display
                  by mouradsme
in a nutshell I suspect NO POST issue and it happened after a BIOS update (triggered by Windows i think?)
I tried hard resetting, clearing CMOS, reseating components (I don't think it is a component issue anyways)
I read on some forums that it is possible to flash bios by putting the BIOS file in a USB Stick, plugging it in, holding Fn+R then powering up while holding Fn+R for 20 seconds, then waiting for a few minutes (Fans start running wild)
But this doesn't seem to work or I am doing it wrong (Maybe wrong BIOS file name)

I don't have access to a BIOS programming...
