    MacBook A1707 820-00281 Boot Loop

    I opened my good MacBook A1707 2017 to take measurements. I measured pin 43 and 1 yesterday to compare with my defective A1707 ;-( now the MacBook doesn't start either. The gong only comes on every 5 seconds! It's in a boot loop. At the beginning, the apple came up too the display. But now only gong every 5 seconds! All my data are on the Mac. Shit

    See if you can locate someone with the Data Migration Tool from Apple. There is a connector onboard the logic board that can be used to extract your data off the soldered devices.

    From last review, believe the SSD is a PCIe interface and you will be lifting a shorting cap and then using this external tool to get to your data.

    Confirm it but the tool should be compatible with your logic board:

      See here:

      Power down and locate J9600 (LIFEBOAT) connector. It is the shorting block connector that will allow you to disconnect the SSD from the CPU.

      With the J9600 shorting cap OFF, does your system boot to the flashing '?' graphic rather than logo boot cycling ?

          No it stays dark. and on the external monitor I see that the monitor is addressed. But nothing happens. External SSD is also not addressed. Only the LED of the SSD adapter lights up. But it doesn't blink that the SSD is being addressed. and I can sometimes hear a crackling sound through the speakers every 5 seconds.

            [Macbook pro A1708] [Boot loop] [Trackpad ?]
            by No Lan
            Hey everyone,

            Usually, I'm not the type to ask for help, but this time, I'm calling on your wisdom and expertise I've seen what this community can do, so I'm pretty sure you guys can help me out.

            Here's the deal: I noticed my MacBook got stuck in a boot loop. After opening it up and doing some initial troubleshooting, I found that the boot loop stops only when the trackpad is unplugged.

            Now, just so you know, the trackpad actually works — I tested it with another motherboard and it's all good. Same for the cable, no issues there. The problem is only...

            Samsung un82ru88000f - Boot loop sort of but can correct with taping of LVDS ribbon
            by NolesFan
            Hello all... TV started boot looping. Opened the back panel and tried to isolate the problem. Just PSB no boot loop. PSB and MB no boot loop. Plug in the LVDS from panel to MB and boot looping starts up. It doesnt matter of order that I plug the LVDS ribbons back in, only 1 and no boot loop but as soon as 2nd one plugs in boot looping. I then noticed a flicker on the screen when I was closing the clip on the harness to the LVDS. Shut the lights off so I can see better, and I noticed as i slowly close it, I will get a picture, but as soon as it clips in, I lose picture and booting happens. So I...

            macbook air 2020 A2179 boot loop cpu hot
            by dellxps15
            hi all, got this macbook that looks perfectly clean. no visible liquid damage or burned component that boot loop. if i try to enter diagnostic , it reboot too after a while.

            owner want to recover data, so im asking if i try a dfu (dunno ifi can do it in that model) do i loose all data ?

            what can cause cpu to get very hot from the beginning ?

            generally i fixed some boot loop by reprogram bios, of do a ssd SOS task from recovery menu, but before i start doing things, it's better listen to someone that had this problem on that model

            MacBook Pro A2141 820-01700 Boot loop
            by ACS-Repair
            Hello All,

            I was handed a 2019 MacBook Pro A2141 that is boot looping. There is never a display or backlight but there is a chime about every 8-10 seconds.
            I plugged in a USB-C meter and it see that it is negotiating 20 volts but there is no current draw at all. Voltage is stable, no resets.
            It appears that the battery has a charge but possibly is not charging.

            The following voltages are present:
            PPBUS_G3H = 12.61V
            PP3V3_G3H = 3.33V
            PP3V3_GH3HRTC = 3.33

            I haven't worked n one of these before so I have limited experience with...

            Yet another Samsung QLED Boot Loop
            by Takeatry
            Samsung QLED QN50Q — purchased 2022 started experiencing a delay in the picture coming on in the morning less than 2 years later. Did not know the term boot loop at that time. As the loop delay ran into a few minutes did all the recommended troubleshooting, soft and hard reset, changing cables and outlet locations, no help. As the delay increased contacted Samsung tech group and allow them remote access the tv. Tech was moving too fast to see exactly what he was doing but this ultimately it was also no help. Lived with the delay until it stretched out over 6 hours. Pulled of off the back cover...
