HP 250G4 la-c701p constantly switching between battery and AC power

I have an issue with HP 250 G4.
When AC adapter is plugged in - the laptop works just fine
When I plug a battery, which a friend claimed that he recycled - replaced the cells inside it with new, the laptop works with the battery just fine.
When I connect the charger, the laptop charges the battery, but in about 1-2 minute intervals switches between AC and battery. Nonetheless, charges the battery.
The board is la-c701p v1.0. I found that the charge IC supports LEARN function(by command from the SMBus controller), which more or less is similar to the behaviour experienced by me.
If it works with battery, works with AC charger, then the MOSFETS should be fine. I found no issues with them, nonetheless.
Could this be a problem, caused by the battery? Because he replaced 18650 cells, but did not reset the battery controller. Or this must be issue with the charge/power IC?

Useful conversions. I don't "speak" imperial. Please use metric, if you want to address me.
    1km=1000m=100000cm, 1inch=2.54cm, 1mile=1609.344meters, 1ft=30.48cm 1gal(US)=3.785liters, 1lb=453grams, 1oz=28.34grams

Re: HP 250G4 la-c701p constantly switching between battery and AC power

Measured all mosfets. Everything with them is fine.
On the G there are about 22V(my multimeter is not true RMS)
Measured all ceramic capacitors between the AC in and Battery.
Periodically voltages on the G of the two mosfets AC and RB just disappear fully and the system switches to battery. Then they appear again and the charge continues.
There is neither charger OV or BAT OV. I don't understand why it periodically switches between AC+charging and battery only when the battery is present and the power led switches from white to red and vice versa.
    It switches between
AC FET and RBFET - G - 22V - Charging and powering the system from AC.
    And
AC FET and RBFET - G 0V, BATFET - 22V, powering the system from Battery.
If some failure mode/protection is activated, I cant find the reason.
The system works normally both when only on AC power or Battery.
The only thing I can think of is some kind of issue with the recycled battery, although the battery seems to be just fine.

Try with another known good battery first before proceeding to diagnosis. Too me, it seems battery issue.

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
        by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...

Vostro 3400 (LA-K033P) won't charge battery, everything else ok
        by techfreak9356
I bought a Vostro 3400 motherboard (LA-K033P) to upgrade over my damaged Inspiron 5593 (LA-J091P) board. Everything else is ok except for the battery. This battery I am using now is already a replacement one since I disposed of the bloated original one. Back in the Inspiron 5593 motherboard, the battery charges fine and is identified just fine. However, with the upgraded motherboard, suddenly the replacement battery is labeled as "Not a dell battery". When I borrow a similar battery from my colleague (which did not have replacements yet), it is identified and charges just fine.

Strange battery present behaviour in Lenovo Legion 5-15ARH05 mb model nm-d041
        by ferah831208
Hello guys, i need help with this problem, I have a NM-D041 mobo, it came with low impedance in 3v linear regulator rail, the cause was a damaged EC controller ITE8227e-192. I ordered a new one and replaced it. This laptop have a different chip for keyboard management and it8227e pins for programming ITE chips are not accesible through keyboard interface, I flashed it using i2c interface pins with vertyanov programmer because laptop was dead and SPI flash didn't have power (only 3v EC) so it couldn't access firmware stored in SPI memory. I read SPI and extracted it8227 firmware from original BIOS...

HP ELITE X2 1013 G3 weird battery issue
        by huzo
Hi, so the old battery was getting error stated it's capacity is starting too get low and should be replaced, so the customer bought a new one and replaced it, but the new battery was also getting this notice that it's capacity is getting low and should be replaced, so i took the laptop for testing and the battery is charging at the terminal at 8.03V , the voltage of the battery is 7.7V, and drawing around 600mA when charger is put and the laptop is off...so that should be ok... but the bios system test doesn't recognize the battery and can't do the battery test and so is the hp battery manager,...

iPad Air A1475 Boot loops after replacing battery
        by trepachka
This iPad was working fine except the battery was not holding charge for more than 40 minutes. I replaced it with a new battery. I haven't glued the battery yet, just inserted it into the slot and held it with battery screw.

The iPad was powered on with the new battery and I am getting white screen with Apple logo for about 10 seconds, then the screen turns dark. It then cycles like this forever.

I know the battery is working because the iPad continues to boot loop without the charger until it depletes to 0% and the message displays I need to plug in the charger.
