How to Know DDR is Ok?

can anyone explain to me how to check points which can state that ddr is broken or not. if I find DDRX_DRAMRST already exists but the laptop doesn't appear on screen it says ddr is broken?

The Chinese sell DDR test cards which are basically a PCB with a 3V battery and a bunch of LEDs. They will tell you if you have an open or short circuit pin in the memory slot.

From experience these slot testers are hit and miss. Had some boards where it clearly told me there was no contact on some lines (under GMCH rather than caused by the slot itself) since there were LEDs that were off when they were supposed to be on, but also show properly lit LEDs when there was bad contact in the slot and cleaning sometimes was enough to get it back to a working state (and sometimes not, such as the typical bad RAM slot on MBP 13" Unibody 2012, or a MBP 15" 2007 with flex damage).
Still, if a LED is off there's most likely a problem.

actually i'm working on a mainboard with ddr4 and nand sticking to the mainboard. i found 1.2V0=1.2V
        1.2V PWRGD=3.2V
        DDR4_DRAMRST#=1.2V VCCCORE =0.89V but
        VCCGT is 0
does it mean the ddr on board is broken?

It seems your ddr ram circuit nad module is fine. VCCGT will come up for a second and then will be zero(if you are measuring with DMM). Better to check on DSO.

Corsair K70 LUX RGB dying LEDs
            by Pipolups
            Hi there !

I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...

Is it possible bridging tiny broken trace
            by chth96
When I assembled dreamcast I mistakenly fastened long bolt and It resulted in
            cutting tiny trace.
This tiny trace(Total width of white coating is 5.5mm) is between R337,R343 and IC101 and it is covered with white coating in the below screenshot.

Firstly I tried to bridging tiny broken trace with my own eyes...But it is totally impossible..So a week ago, I ordered G1200 Digital Microscope and I magnified this tiny broken trace with it.

But It seems that It is really very tiny trace So I plan to order 0.1mm coper wire from aliexpress in order to bridging...

Requesting assistance with 486 motherboard repair
            by Byte_76
I have a seemingly rare 486 motherboard which shows no signs of life.

The Motherboard is marked with the labels B887 / 8 / 9 AI, which seems to be a Mecer branded board.

With an AT power supply hooked up, the power supply turns on but the board does not post, there is no beep and there is nothing displayed on the post analyser card, whether it's plugged into a PCI slot or an ISA slot.

I found a thread on Vogons of someone else who had the same board in working condition.

What I've tried so far: (In each case, the symptoms remain unchanged as...

Trying to troubleshoot DDR4 SODIMM slot with slot tester
            by Lifeisfun
            Hi folks!
I have some kind of memory problem on Lenovo laptop. I was initially able to install windows after several tries since the laptop did freeze in middle of those attempts.
Eventually I discovered that it was related to moving the laptop.
Later on it even stopped booting unless I pressed around the memory slot. (no keyboard LEDs only power button responds)
If I remove the RAM I get the beeps that RAM is missing. Inserting the RAM there is silence and it will not boot most of the time. No picture.

I removed the board got one of those memory slot testers...
