HP 14-ab Charging Issues Power Management Problems

When computer is ON the battery level does not change.
When DC Jack cable is inserted or removed, it updates the battery health.
It charges the battery when battery is connected, but does not show charging or progressing in % percentage in the system. Unless removed and reinserted.

Tried a different battery same issue.

Ubuntu Live 20 and Windows 10 both show 33% Plugged in.
Windows 10 shows plugged in ONLY. Ubuntu says Charging but stuck on 33%
33% is at 12.45V and it’s increasing and charging the battery when tested with multi meter.

Battery rating is 13.2Vdc model BK03XL HP 3470mAh

I have not attempted to replace the BQ737 as I feel the readings are OK, but please advise. I've provided as much information as possible and let me know what other information you'd like.

Battery PIN connector on BOARD Readings:
    1 Ground
    2 Ground
    3 Ground
    4 36k
    5 5.96M
    6 5.98m
7 HARD to get reading, jumps from 8.6M to 1.15M 30K then up350K then keeps cycling like this.
8 SAME behavior as Pin 7.

    Pin 7 & 8 go into MOSFET PU4408 DRAIN and Diode , 2 caps and R010 Resistors.

    ENE Readings
    ENE KB9028Q C diode Resistance
    77 SDA0 0.56 2.48M
    78 SCL0 0.56 2.48M
    79 IEDI_SDA 0.43 11.53k
    80 IEDI_SCL 0.43 11.53k

    Charge controller is the BQ737
I have a bad identical board with different issues and the reading off that in diode more and this one are pretty much identical except where stated:

I've uploaded a video showing the performance activity of the BQ737 under thermal camera for your reference.

VCC in pin 20 of BQ737 Resistance is 17.48M ohms. 11.05V when battery is in. When Charger is in 19.49V with battery inside. 19.99V when battery is disconnected.

I'm thinking resistors somewhere but I don't know where also that the charge level indicator etc. comes in to the system only when DC cable is removed and inserted it'll update in windows. when battery is removed and insert also it'll update in Windows but ONLY once.

I've replaced 100k resistors for data lines at battery side. not fixed.
i've checked resistors at ene chip side, both are 2.2k which are good.
I've installed new BQ737 chip. not fixed.
From battery it goes to a 6 legged chip, I swapped from another laptop, not fixed.
          I've run out of ideas.
I've also tried another battery. So 3 batteries altogether.

It'll only charge battery when turned OFF. When turned on, it stops charging off the battery and it'll work off the DC. When DC is removed, battery does kick in.

Finally fixed the issue. Original problem - 1 of the dual resistor is not working properly. Then after I realised the adapter not giving enough voltage. So battery detection and data issue related to resistor. and charging only when off is related to adapter.

How much Volt was the adapter delivering?

Touchscreen Issues on Samsung Galaxy Tab A: Replacement Problems or Hardware Fault?
                    by fluzocapacitor
                    Hello,

The touchscreen of my tablet started malfunctioning in a strip about one centimeter wide that stretched across the screen, approximately 5 centimeters from the top edge of the tablet.

I bought another touchscreen and replaced it. The issue with the strip disappeared, but on this new screen, the bottom area didn't work, up to about 6 centimeters from the bottom edge of the tablet. The malfunction was quite strange because it only occurred when the first touch was made in that area. In other words, if you touched an area outside the faulty zone and then dragged into...

Activation of Management Engine after exchange Z590 chipset - ASUS PRIME Z590M-PLUS
                    by DynaxSC
Hi, i have an ASUS PRIME Z590M-PLUS board, which had an shorted Z590 chipset. I have succesfully exchanged the chipset to a factory new one, however there is a serious problem with the Intel Management Engine (later on: ME) not beeing activated after the chipset device replacement.

For lower chipset families (on ASUS boards) it worked to program the oldest bios version into the SPI rom, and the bios had activated the Management Engine itself by default - there was a message on the screen prior booting - "BIOS is updating Management Engine ..... . Do not shut down to prevent...

                    Hello,

the used graphic card is "intel hd graphics" and the id of the integrated screen is : "monitor/SEC3354".
i verified the driver of the péripherals and they are ok. i verified the definition and settings of the graphic card and of the screen : definition 1600x900 and refreshment frequency :60hz. (they are the sames for the graphic card and the screen).

                    USB problems?
                    by Hondaman
Recently I discovered my SSD died (OCZ/Toshiba 240 GB). It was in a USB enclosure, attached to the Linksys WRT-AC1200 router. Since then I removed the USB enclosure and attached it to my Win7 PC (AMD 8150 CPU, 970 chipset, 64 GB RAM). I also gathered one or two other USB enclosures to figure out what is going on.

(I suspect that I lost quite a few MP3 and FLAC files I recently ripped from my audio CDs, I think I lost very little un-replaceable stuff.)

I think it is IMPOSSIBLE for Win7 to have any problems with a USB enclosure as long as Win7 knows how to speak to the...

Lenovo 11e problems (any sata hdds are not recognized, sleep battery drain)
                    by clabr
Need help to solve some problems with this laptop.

After working in bed with it one night and heating up too much (probably the cause of this problems) the sata HDD OS windows froze
After restart the original Sata HDD was not recognized anymore (but works fine in other laptops or PCs)

Tried connecting other good Sata 2.5 HDDs but not one is working in this laptop anymore (not the original nor others)

Before this had happened I observed some other problems:
When I tried replacing original mecanical HDD with a SSD HDD could not get them...
