Helllo Guys, i want to ask about Mosfets equivalent Guide, i have a shorted Dual N channel mosfet but i dont have it in my broken motherboards , so how i can pick the right equivalent mosfet that will work without making problems ,its an ic mosfet a dual N channel FDMS3615S and what i have is FDMS3600S would it work ?? cause i soldered it but it warmed up maybe there is a problem other than the mosfet , Vgs is the same in both of them but the difference is in Rds

Re: Asking For Mosfet Equivalent Guide
https://alltransistors.com/mosfet/tr...ransistor=6163
FDMS3600S has max current 15 amp at RDS 5.6m ohm
Whereas
FDMS3615S has current 16amp at RDS 5.8 m ohm
Change it there is 1 amp current difference
Use which has equal or more current capacity with equal vgs and sufficient drain to source resistance.

Re: Asking For Mosfet Equivalent Guide
When a mosfet dies, you need to ask if there is something on the board that killed it. While it is normal for transistors to be hot during operation, it is also the indication of a significant current going through it. You need to make sure that this isn't due to a short somewhere on the exit side.Comment

Also when you replace a dead MOSFET, replace the MOSFET driver (or buck controller if it's integrated) at the same time.OpenBoardView — https://github.com/OpenBoardView/OpenBoardViewComment

by dj8452000I am new to electronics and I'm understanding most of what I'm reading but I have a mosfet on my board that I've identified as a P-channel Trench Mosfet. I haven't a clue how to test this and what I should expect to see with the multimeter probes. I am hoping someone with years more experience than myself can help me understand how to use a multimeter to read this. Please look at the drawing I have attached to this and can you try to explain to me what I should be doing with my multimeter in diode mode and what results I should expect from a good mosfet?...

by tmaster21Hello guys. i'm having problems here with this lenovo 110 with board NM-A841 laptop. There is an P channel(pq302) and after it i start ,i have 19v but with time, it decreases or if i press "power on" switch or jumper j6 , it falls to 0 and back to 19v. There is no short and works good on battery, but won't charge or charge until the voltage drop like i explain after P mosfet.
Well i suspect that this mosfet is no good. if you look to skematic i have steady 19v on P2 but start to decrease on P3 like if the mosfet is dying . the gate of boot N an P mosfet are the same: is steady... -
by dreico33Hellow guys,
I am trying to replace an AON7403 Mosfet but i dot not have in my stock the same. So i wonder if there is any equivalent to this Mosfet.
Thank you very much. -
by eccerr0rAnyone run memory speed tests with an old X58-based triple channel 1st gen or any other >2 channel board? The one I have is a Gigabyte I think.
Anyway I had four 4GB DDR3-1333 modules in the 6 memory slots and got around 11GB/sec memory speeds assuming that it went dual channel since it didn't have enough modules for triple channel. Now I stuck in two more 4GB modules, but they are DDR3-1600. I'm still getting 11GB/sec speeds according to memtest86...
Just wondering, anyone do memory speed analysis on these triple (and higher) channel memory boards? Are there any...-

by mohamed mmHi,
I'm looking for an equivalent dule mosfet for (IR3598MTRPBF - Dual MOSFET Driver, High Side, and Low Side, 4.0V to 13.2V Drive voltage, 20 ns delay, QFN-16)
it's for motherboard ram voltage.
I hope someone can help me.
Thank you. - Loading...
