    Asus 1001PXD REV. 1.1 blinking led light

    Hi this unit was ok when I recieve it but after 3 days , the unit wont power on it will ust blink the power led light continuesly withot pressing its power. I hope someone can guide me where to check and how to identify its prblem

    First thing

    Check rtc section
    Do hard reset
    Re flash good bios or verify rsmrst#

      Things like this typically mean the KBC software is running, and there is something the KBC doesn't like. As stingerchamp said, do basic checks first.

        What setting should I set for my dso for reading RTCRST#

        pin 2 3.3v

          3v and 5V is present bios pin 1 ov pin 8 hav 3.3v

            Check resistances on all the coils. I assume the schematic for this doesnt exist?

                Then publish it. I found the one for rev 2.0 but 1.1 seems to be on paysites only

                  Im having a low impedance on this coil I cant I identify where to find it in the schematic.

                    Very simple, identify the IC next to it. If this is feeding a big chip like the CPU it may very well be the normal resistance for that rail.
