Boost to show I read this and I’m a 2’er, been doing it since I was 10 on windows 3.1 and dozens of old dell latitudes. Here’s to hoping it lets me send some DMs and start threads. Thanks for all your wisdom!

                                          "2.5. Never randomly replace components"

Randomly replace components. In the Auto repair industry we call this parts cannoning, firing random parts at the problem hoping it goes away. Not very professional to do.

I am trying to fix a samsung washinmachine power supply main board.
I already replaced it with another one to fix the machine but i want to try understand the issue with the old board.
Therefore i hope to be able to get some help to explain what to check in order to troubleshoot.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                            Assuming...

I’m repairing a Dell Precision 3591 with board number 223092-1.
I need a full BIOS dump (W25Q16 and W25Q512 if available), clean and bootable.
The original chips could not back it up as i used 3,3v instead of 1.8v programmer which ,killed the chip
                                            bought new empty chip
the reason was to remove the bios password
Any working dump (from working unit) will help
is there anyway to rebuild one from scratch?
