lenovo Ideapad 3 17.
Laptop doesn't have any sound and also no DRIVERS ARE SHOWN . no output or input device.
i dont think its a software issue. because i updated the bios to the latest and all other drivers. but no luck.
havent reinstall Windows yet.
i changed the audio board ( its a seperate board with the realtek CHIP on it and also the SD card reader and the NOVO button and the Power button.)
everything seems to work just fine. except the Audio.

Laptop is not turning on or any led is showing.
PU5601 is getting untouchably hot changed it but still getting hot and no sign of live? what should i do next?
PC5611 was also shorted changed the cap and the short was gone, but still no 3.3V on the cap wich should receive from the PU5601.

thanks for the reply ! no liquid damage, the Azalia Codec is not heating up there was a Shorted CAP wich was heating up near the Codec i removed the cap and the short was gone. i havent placed a new one yet might that be it ?...Leave a comment:

Working on a Asus Gl504GS mainboard.
the laptop has no sound anymore tried anything in windows but still no luck.
the realtek driver is also not shown in windows and it doesnt even play in the BIOS sounds.(startup logo sound)
i founded one shorted CAP near the Realtek ALC3288 IC removed but still no luck.
what should i do next? just replace the IC ?
i do measure 5V in near by the IC. and the short is gone. -
