Hello, i have this Hp board (LA-C701P), it work but no image (only with external monitor) when i power on the lcd stay a more black but no image, i have change the lcd without results.
Any idea?

Pin 15 and 16(+LCDVDD) in board connector is 0v, i dont have a 2º cable to test but the pin 1 and 2 dont have continuity between the connectors and according the Schematics i have pin 1 and 2 are (LVDS_TXP0, LVDS_TXN0).
maybe a cable problem?Comment

Back trace R172 should be near the IC what voltage other side ? Short pin 5 & 1 just to check voltage is crossing +3VComment

You have to keep holding from a tweezer or put a jumper that voltage must cross over , check voltage LVDS pin 37 38 27 28 15 16 screen must be connectedComment

When i short (1,5) i lost de 3,3v in pin 5 (stay o volt) only 3,3 v in pin 4, with the short 37,38 - 0 v; 27,28-19v; 15,16-0v
Without short same voltage in LVDSComment

remove UG1 & test all pins again for voltage after test Ohms in pin 1 you have 2 caps in this line CG2 CG3 test one of the are fault or not their is another prob DATA & CLK is missing on pin 37 38 LVDS was the screen connected when you check voltage ?Comment

Hello i have correct the issue, thanks for the help techtiger, like you say when i remove the UG1 and short pin 1-5, i have have all the voltages in the lvds pins, but still not working, so o chage the cable, and now are working...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't

I ask this question in general as there are many Acer Aspire models with UEFI Insyde BIOS that do not boot to the BIOS on an external monitor (VGA, HDMI, etc) showing only the Internal LCD (LVDS, eDP etc).
It's a pain to work on Acer notebooks with a broken screen and not being able to access the BIOS using an external monitor.

Hey everyone,hope everyone is fine, I got an issue hoping you guys can help me,
I got a HP V193 monitor it has a E59670 now i got a few of these, been using them for long time now, however this particular monitor was blacking out for a few times then after unplugging and plugging it back in it gets back to normal until now its dead.
I tried switching the power supply board with another similar monitor and it works,so I'm trying to fix this power supply board I got some basic in electronics as a hobbyist.

Normally, I never post repairs this quick after I do them, because… I am usually very slow.
