Dell Latitude E5480 not charge battery

Hello!
I have problem with this laptop. Not charge the battery, but it works with it.
MB num: CDM70 LA-E082P Rev:2.0(A01)
When i plugged DC adapter the charging led is light few secound then goes out.
The laptop has a not genuine battery, but i tried also with new, working Genuine battery. The charger is genuine dell 65W charger,i tried also 90W dell charger.

I measured battery connector with and without battery.

I think the ISL88738 is bad but i'm not sure.

Can anyone help me?

@lapfix perhaps means voltage reading on all 32 pins of charging IC.

It cannot identify the charger.
I tried 2 different AC adapter 90W and 65W both of genuine.

I found this PWM ic (intersil 88738 H) in china, but in my country electronic component store found just the intersil 88739H.
Possible it's compatible each other?

If it cannot identify the adapter wattage correctly, problem is PSID. Charging IC is likely to be ok. Measure PS_ID signal.

PS_ID is short to ground.

Most probably PD4 ESD diode is the problem, remove it and check again. And dont use HP or replacement noname chinese power supplies on a Dell machines!

Yes, the esd diode caused the problem. i found it when i wrote prev. post

The problem is probably a blown diode on the motherboard. Disassemble the motherboard and carefully check all the components (on the back of the motherboard), when you identify it, replace it with an equivalent one, and do not use generic chargers in the laptop.

Anyone did you try intersil 88738h replace by other code like 88739a... Is it possible.. Yourdo you have any idea whcich ic is compatible to 88738h... In our country no available 88738h.. Just 88739a
