    Dell Latitude E5440 "no power", flashing Power led continuously [long blinks]

    Hello Everyone,
    I have a Dell Latitude E5440 that doesn't power On. It flashes Power Led continuously [Long blinks].

    Initial problem of this laptop was that the RAM IC [TPS51362] got burnt and caused a short on the motherboard. After replacing the IC, the short was gone but the Laptop did not power On. Instead, it starts blinking (long blinks) Power led continuously when I connect the AC adapter or Battery.

    According to Dell's blink codes, it is assumed to be "Memory failed to initialize or Memory is unsupported"

    check the attached image.

    Any ideas on what i should do???

    Is your 3/5ALWS & LDO voltages are ok ? RTC section Ok? What are the missing Voltages on the MB when Press the power button?

      3/5ALWS & LDO is present.

      PL52 = 3.35v
      PL53 = 5.18v
      PL150 = 1.05v (just for a second)
      PL300 = 1.4v (just for a second)
      PL301 = 13.6v (+PWR_SRC)
      PL401 = 13.7v
      PL100 = 1.26v (just for a second)
      RTC = 3.12v
      PS_ID = 3.12v

        Correction to this, TPS51362 is not the RAM IC, it is the +1.05V IC

            U46
            Pin 14 = gets up to 3v and drops
            Pin 8 = gets up to 3v and drops

            U45
            Pin 14 = gets up to 3v and drops
            Pin 8 = gets up to 3v and drops.

            The flashing power led is more like a Power On loop. Goes On-Off On-Off continuously......
