    HEELLLPPP with power MOSFET substitution

Please oh studly gods of ee:
I have a Dell xps 13 with 2 blown mosfets. The originals are alpha&omega (Ayoa) aoz1331di chips.
These have been discontinued and the replacement parts are impossible to find.
The originals ARE available, and I ordered some.....three weeks later customs bounced them back to Taiwan, go figure.
I found these TI chips and Mouser has thousands in stock, but I'm new to SMD/SMT and mosfets in general.
The only difference I see on the white sheets is the ti part has a 16mOhm input resistance and the aoz (original part) has a 20mOhm resistance.
And to save anyone the trouble if its just an instant deal breaker, the ti is a wson package and the aoz is a dfn.
I will attach the specs and I have the mobo schematics if needed, for now I will up the screenshot just of the relevant page. The two circuits in question are the last 2 in the right (audio)
Seriously, any help and I'll name my hot air station after you or something.
    Tia.

Re: HEELLLPPP with power MOSFET substitution

I believe it should work, its not that critical of a circuit and a slightly lower on resistance should not be an issue and may even be better (a bit cooler?).
The 16mΩ Ron is the resistance of the fet when it is on, so slightly less voltage drop but the difference between 16mΩ and 20mΩ at 3v & 1.8v is next to nothing.

Edit: I just found this on digikey, might be closer and half the price

K, thank you so much for the speedy reply. So the form factor difference should be ok (as in instead of dfn) I just linked a whitesheet in comments to one that I found that is dfn but I didn't have time to really grind the specs.

The dimensions seem to be the same. the dimensions are given on the data sheet, that AP22966 seems to be ok also. I see no real difference. I would go with the AP22966
Looks like all it is doing is switching the 3v and 1.8v for the audio circuits

K, thank you. My hot air station shall hereafter be called RJ. (Glad your nic wasn't bubbles or anything)
