Re: HEELLLPPP with power MOSFET substitution
K, thank you so much for the speedy reply. So the form factor difference should be ok? (Wson instead of dfn) I just linked a whitesheet in comments to one that I found that is dfn but I didn't have time to really grind the specs....

HEELLLPPP with power MOSFET substitution
Please oh studly gods of ee:
I have a Dell xps 13 with 2 blown mosfets. The originals are alpha&omega (Ayoa) aoz1331di chips.
These have been discontinued and the replacement parts are impossible to find.
The originals ARE available, and I ordered some.....three weeks later customs bounced them back to Taiwan, go figure.
I found these TI chips and Mouser has thousands in stock, but I'm new to SMD/SMT and mosfets in general.
The only difference I see on the white sheets is the ti part has a 16mOhm input resistance and the aoz (original part) has a 20mOhm resistance....Last edited by Trimixer; 09-08-2019, 09:30 PM.

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hi all.
I'm Brian, in the Pacific Northwest, I've been lurking this site off and on for years, the name got my attention; my first build was a Pentium 3 on one of the abit boards that were blowing caps like popcorn makers.
First computer I messed with was a Ti-994a that a teacher would bring to electronics club (yeah I'm that big of a geek) it was a + model with the internal cassette tape memory.
After that I used to spend afternoons in a radio shack by my grandmother's house banging away on a trs-80. Back then...
