Dear Forum Members,
I have the following laptop batteries:
- part number: L11M6F01 , 11.1v 62Wh belonging to Thinkpad E531
- part number: L11S6Y01 , 10.8v 48Wh belonging to Ideapad G585
the two batteries have the same shape and pins but different voltage ratings.
some websites claim these two part numbers are compatible, but I am not sure.
what will happen on mainboard if I use the second battery (belonging to Ideapad G585) in Thinkpad E531?
Does the Thinkpad's mainboard get damaged after some time?
have anyone replaced a 11.1v battery by a 10.8v battery yet?
Thanks
