Re: Asus x555LD touchpad not working
DRIVERS! I had same problem, trackpad wont work. Bugged drivers or something windows related.
Uninstall drivers from device manager and remove trackpad software. Restart PC, it should install generic drivers.
this asus notebook is total garbage. GT820M throttles with fresh thermal paste. Trackpad problems. Stupid motherboard design.Comment

Re: Asus x555LD touchpad not working
Well, i call it grounding tape. Its the fabric conductive tape in the picture above the white sticker on the left (its an acer netbook).Without that tape or a jumper wire its erratic or doesn`t work at all .Theres another large GND pad on the right where i can run a jumper wire to the surrounding metal bracket .Last edited by SMDFlea; 04-08-2019, 04:19 AM.Comment

Re: Asus x555LD touchpad not working
It should be asus smart gesture or asus support device (generic drivers).
Try booting latest hirens CD with linux or mini windows 7/10, they should have generic drivers. To test if it's windows/drivers problem.
because in my case it was exactly it - Drivers.Comment

by MichelinManHey guys,
Just purchased a CF-20 (mk1) supposedly was all working. However, the seller had done a fresh install of windows 10 but did not install any driver. Seller was adamant the trackpad/touchpad was working.
The touchpad/trackpad does not work. No led lights near the trackpad. The keyboard works, the USB 2 port on the base does not work, The USB 3 ports will recognise a USB 3 flashdrive but did not recognise a USB mouse. The ethernet port on the keyboard section works.
The USB 3 port on the actual tablet section works with no issues.
