guys i cannot even count how many of this asus x555ld have in hand and noone have working touchpad. what is wrong with these laptops? have anybody solution for this?

sorry guys for bothering u . do update drivers and this is first one of MANY that works :-)
but if u have 100% solution please share it because i have MANY of it with not working touchpad -

About drivers: if it's Windows 10, try to manually install Synaptics 18.x.xx drivers and double check touchpad is not disabled. A lot of laptops more than a few years old won't work properly with Synaptics 19.x.xx and that's what Windows 10 installs by default.

On these models if you test the motherboard without the touchpad when you reconnect it , it's possible that the OS don't recognize the device. After one or two restart the situation return normally.
