Looks like it, because there are fan made drivers for older removable memory units for Xbox360. I did image backup on linux. And then mounted it on windows with software made for fatx partitions, etc. And it worked. You are really right for saying that these types of troubleshooting is done under linux. .... -
under linux it gets detected. But file system is fatx, only windows have tools made for it....

Tried with grounded 2, 5, 6 - same thing. Then tried without 5, finally without 6 - same.
On the memory board itself is a tiny capacitor should be alright.

i get unrecognized device (error 43)
USB cable connected to these points:
FT7 - 3.3V (using 5V to 3.3V regulator, connected to USB cable)
FT10 - GND (sharing with voltage regulator, connected to USB cable)
FT8 - D-

go with thermal putty and something likeptm7950 for gpu and cpu.
too many variables like pad hardness. Myself i regret not going with thermal putty.

found stock heatsink, but i never dealt with thermal pads so its hard to determine thickness of thermal pads in the photo, only original pad left is that green square which is 2mm. And i have no reference for 0.5mm thermal pads to compare.

core temperature is about 71C during games. Trying to figure out if my VRAM temperatures are good. I use HWINFO to monitor GPU. 104C is VRAM...

Is 98C vram temp are safe? Less demanding games goes 80ish.
Funny thing, there were old non stock thermal pads very botched, so i replaced them. After, temperatures remained the same, but performance (fps) improved significantly. With both thermal pad application GPU core temp was similar.
furmark goes about 104C, amperage keeps rising so do temps. -
recently this laptop had a strange behavior. When shut off charger would go off - no light, and mac won't react to power button. But trackpad is still clickable. So i hold power button to reset, trackpad no longer clicks, still couldn't boot afterwards. Sometimes it worked correctly, power on when charger is connected, etc.
Laptop had a soft drink spill, luckily keyboard is still working, power button and touch id too. Only angle sensors is reporting screen always closed so i removed it. removed the chip, turned out clock was bad - pin 7, voltage goes random, dont have scope for proper analysis. Now im lost. Still get random voltage on that mosfet and on some other parts of the board....

one spits out 1V to 5V garbage, other is no output, maybe system needs to be fully on.

it looks like sw pins are getting random voltage if the design is the same, so likely mosfet is not the problem. I found other places with random voltage....Leave a comment:

Apple silicon only resets by pressing power button for about 10 seconds. Such a noob. But still i get this problem and discovered an anomaly on the board. So i guess this component was semi alive and i got some lucky resets.
Voltage goes from from 1.2 to 5V in random values.
Photo shows highlighted components. Need second opinion, i'm a hobbyist.
Can't find any info about this component
