by fichambaHello everybody:
Let me put all the laptop's info before describing the problem:
BRAND: MSI
MODEL No.: MS-17E7
SKU: GL75 Leopard 10SEK-261XES-BB71075H16GXXDXX
MoBo: MS-17E71 VER. 1.0
This laptop arrived to fix the broken left hinge, due to a hit. The hinge was repaired, and when I went to check it out, everything worked well, but I observed certain artifacts (mainly random lines) in the screen. So I decided to remove the screen bezel again, and I saw certain damage to the main LCD harness.
This time I also observed that the right... -
by obelix24Hi i have one Macbook Air 2020 where touch ID is not working (it's not scanning fingerprints). Touch ID was working before, there is no error message during scanning fingerprint it's just not scanning on screen you can see only fingerprint but there are no red updates as when it's working. Power button is working fine.
I've checked boardview and also schematics but i'm not able to find anything related to TouchID ... i have similar issue on a2338 where there was problem with PP3V0_TOUCHID and after replacing UT610 it was working but here i'm not able to find anything related to... -
by Vliegenier04Hi! This Mac has been an headscratcher for me, I can't seem to figure out the issue. The Macbook has gotten water damage to the front of the keyboard connector and battery connector. The keyboard connector was dead, by which I mean it was completely corroded and I have replaced it with a brand new one.
I have verified all the pins are connected to the main board and the main voltages (PP1V8_AONSW_KBD_ISNS and PP3V3_AON_KBD_CONN) are both present, with and without keyboard attached.
Unfortunately, the keyboard does NOT want to work, caps lock LED not functioning as well as any...06-16-2025, 12:03 PM -
by hopkokHi masters, I need your help.
I am working on Lenovo Legion 16ITHg6
Motherboard number NM-D721, no BV, no schematic but I am attaching very closes ones.
INPORTANT: My motherboard version is with IT8258 IC, that is controlling keyboard and RGB LEDs.
My problem is on UI142, +3VALW_AG is not stable, floating from 0V to 3,3V.
AGKB_PWR_EN_N signal is floating too (that is why+3VALW_AG not stable).
Power LED is not working as well, power button working well.
UI26 ??? is there any firmware too? Powered by +3VALW_AG.
Motherboard...05-04-2025, 09:35 AM -
by ronaldopdiasSymptoms:
No keys work apart from F1, F7, F12 function keys such as keyboard brightness, touchpad enable/disable.
Keyboard RGB works okay and might be adjustable.
VERY occasionally it may function but most of the time it is dead.
The fault is down to the USB data lines not going low when the bus is idle. The keyboard connects over USB, so the issue on the USB data bus causes it to stop functioning.
The fix is to fit a 1K resistor to the daughterboard that the keyboard + trackpad connect to. The daughterboard is located beneath the battery. The resistor...05-13-2025, 04:50 AM - Loading...
