I believe when I was removing the mobo from the laptop, there was what appeared to be something like a metal flexible washer under the screw head. Didn't think much of it until a few days ago when I was troubleshooting the battery and found that pin 4 on the batt connector is directly connected to the right side of that screw mount, and the other side is grd. That got me thinking that it must be a safety feature so that you cannot power the mobo from the battery when it isn't mounted in the case (of course you could manually grd it).
Is my assumption correct, and what is the exact meaning of the symbol (circled in red)?
