    Acer da0zr2mb6g0 rev:g no power

    This laptop has no power when Ive check it 19v rail is shorted to ground ,but when I pump power to the laptop with power supply unit the graphics and processor gets hot, those this meas the processor and graphics chip are dead?

    Please give me some advice Its my first tiem to encounter this kind of problem

    if u have shorted high side mosfests on its power rails than u have burned gpu and cpu. check that mosfets for short

      Lesson one 1 from today.
      You never inject more voltage then the biggest draining ic .
      Standard is 1 v but you can go to 1.5v max.
      In order to inject over 12 to see short of caps and other components you desolder every Coil from PCB that can go to cpu, gpu and chipset.
      The simple reason is that if it's passing that high voltage to one of them or all of them you can piss on that board.

      Desolder the coils and see if you still got short. If yes then inject again voltage.
      If not then all important ic,gpu are dead from high voltage.

      Good luck

          Absolutely right but unfortunately this mistake is repeated by lot of technicians.
