Also what should be the ideal voltages on gate of PQ67 and and PIN2 of PQ68 before the power button is pressed.

Actually didn't know power sequence on this model (HK1) a bit different with HK8 (mostly come to my bench) S5_ON signal turn ON after pressing PwrBTN. While HK1 seem S5_ON turn ON (actually on your board) after plugin adapter.
What I've been thought that First EC need supplied by 3.3V, for purpose this only need EN2 ON and OUT2 present. Meanwhile EN1 (S5_ON) delayed or after by Pressing PwrBTN, this could be happen. Even if bios didn't supplied by 3V providing that EC got supply it could be. If HK1 should be like this, so S5_ON seem this signal premature.
Found Power of sequence but don't know is correct or not.Comment

Yes S5_ON has 3.3 volt as soon as adpater is plugged in.
PR272 shows 19V on VIN side and on the other side it shows no voltage after adapter is plugged in. Is that normal ? RVCCD does generate just fine.Comment

Anyone has any suggestion as what should I check next. I think we have progressed well so far after we have achieved 15VPCU.

I noticed that 3V was generating fine but 5V was not generating as it should. The output of COIL PL14 had 5V but the input side showed no voltage. 3.3 volt was generating just fine.
I tried replacing the PU9 IC and now I dont even have the 3.3 volt. What could have gone wrong ?Comment

A) TV initially dead
B) On a hunch of a locked up Google OS, plugged in a USB memory stick with latest FW and plugged it in. It booted into the update screen, completed the update and restarted to Home screen.
C) Was able to perform a Reset from Settings menu and completed out of box configuration.
D) Ran a 4K screen saver demo for about 6 hours, then turned it off for the day. Did not notice any stripes, dead zones or other artifacts in the image.
E) Powered back on and it now runs for a few minutes before relay clicks, screen goes blank, Main Board Red Digital Optical... -

black screen ,no STB no life almost death.
on PS all the required volts are present 394V on the main cap and those on cold side 12.41V,3.45 and 3.45 are on
Also 3,5,and 12v are on.
nothing happens if i disconnect the PSU from the mainboard as on Samsung because here i think the mainboard gives the signal to the ps.
don't know what to do next all suggestions and advice are very welcome​... -
Hi,
My Sony W905 started to turn itself off an on every few minutes and blinking 8 times red in standby. A few minutes later the tv was completely dead.
I can only hear the click of the PSU when attaching/detaching the power cable. No standby LED.
Any advice? Thanks! -
Hello again lifesavers.
I have a KDL-55W755c that came in dead - not even standby light going on. Tested the power supply - all correct. Tested the output pins on the Led driver board (in which the power cord plugs in) - all seemed fine.
I got a service manual for this model and tested the DC/DC converter by checking voltages on selected components. Every voltage was present where it should be. Service manual says that in this case a "Muffin" replacement is needed. This is the moment where I got stuck as I wasn't able to Google my way through it - till this day I... -
Buenas mi nombre es carlos me uni al foro porque estoy buscando el schematic de una sony vaio pcg-41217u otras formas de escribirlo son 1p-0117j01-a012 mbx-237 numero de placa revision 1.2 o Sony VPCSB (MBX-237), en fin me gustaria y ayudaria un monton si alguien me puede dar dichi svhematic para hacer las mediciones de una laptop de la mencionada anteriormente(Sony VAIO PCG-41217U) con el fin de repararla dejo de funcionar solo prende el led de la bateria al pulsar el boton de power el disco empiesa a hacer ruido de actividad pero los leds del frontas no reflejan acividad y no enciende la pantalla....
