I need help on this hp 14-am096tu laptop cannot boot because it has an error of system fan error 90b, i check the fan and removed in the board and check with bench lab by injecting on + and - 3v the fan is spinning. anyone help on this

connect the fan to the laptop and just look at the fan when it turns on. then, tell us how the fan behaves during power on and after that. -

i connect the fan to board and turn on and observe the behavior, the fan is not spinning and also it takes 8seconds to display, and also cannot detect hard drive.Comment

the fan seems to be healthy and the problem is probably from something else on the mainboard, such as Bios or EC firmware.Comment

There are 6 different bios for the 14-am series, i posted all the bios in a new thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=73759
Backup your bios first, find your BID number ,flash the bios.Comment

Does your HDD get power ? (Does it starts to spin?). I believe same 5v needs to be present for fan and hdd. Are your USB ports working ?Comment

the hdd not get power and not start to spin same with fan.all usb ports are working ill tried to boot on windows installiotion on flash drive and its detected fine.Comment

I still not solved this problem but i found a clue on this two caps near fan connector there is no 5v and on the other side the one cap near the hdd connector has no 5v also and then this cap is connected to the two caps near the fan connector.but when i reheat the two caps it works and after shutdown and leave the laptop for a couple of hours and tried again i came back to the same issue.anyone could help me on this please!!! i have upload the imageAttached FilesComment

At post #13 you said it worked when you heated the 2 caps, take a picture of that area. Try and trace where those caps go ,if theyre connected to some IC post the part number .Comment

u have to find 5V switch. maybe it is that ic . u must check its datasheet

one of our new (only 4 year old) 1KVA APC UPS stop working and through error P13 contact customer support.
the equipment is out of warranty , upon investigation, we found the inverter board has the fault on the output hybrid relay circuit.
The inverter output relay is parallel by SCR/Triac to enhance the relay performance or other means.
We replaced the SCR with new device,, but the device is not power on as expected.
Further research on the issue found that, the error P13 (event ID 107) is latched on the UPS nvram/MCU and need to clear/reset using a service procedure....09-26-2025, 09:00 AM -

Our Sharp LC-80LE642U displays one short one long flash error code which is a backlight error. I went into service mode and there were 8 lamp error counts recorded. I reset the count to 0 and did a reset. The last monitor error cause was 16 B00014639:12. 16 is the code for backlight error. I tried to power the tv up but went back into error mode.

I need to remove BIOS Password.
I made a dump with an CHA341A programmer and NeoProgrammer 2.2.0.10.
Attached my dump.
I also used the HP Unlocker tool to create an unlocked file (I followed the guidelines)
I also downloaded latest HP BIOS Update (SP158137) which includes 3 .bin files. I found the Number T76 in my original dump, so I used: T76_01210000.bin

I have a 2014 vintage Philips 60PFL8708S/12 that suddenly died in the middle of the kids watching a show.
The relevant service manual for the chassis is available here.
The TV no longer powers on, and leaving it powered on for a few minutes results in the layer-1 error with 2 blinks.
When I short the SDM to ground I get the layer-2 error code 53.
