Hi guys. What is fastest way to check if a1466, a1502, a1398 etc is not MDM or other management or locks? When buying a board, to not get future problems? -

As i always worked only on macbooks, still don't have programmer for SIO chips, probably my original GQ-4x4 will not work on them ? What would you recommend from cheaper ones ?Leave a comment:

Have this board with heating:
IT5125E-128
2120-CXA
And cant find if this chip is programable or i can just buy from Ali and change it?
And what CXA stands for? Because some sellers offer same chip on both codes with CXA and without CXA. Other sellers offers two diffrent variations, one with CXA another without CXA. -
820-01237-07 IMac Identification of component
Hi guys,
Received imac (820-01237-07) from repair shop, imac is not responding to power button. Found knocked off component pads. Can anybody identifie what it is? One pin is GND, second pin is 0.300 in diode mode and looks like it goes to pin8 of chip in another side of board (DAFI).
p.s There is no schematics available

Its not so simple, you will also have to rewrite T2 firmware, also nand chips has to be from same part number donor board.Leave a comment:

Machine will be in power on loop without nands same as you have now, your boards behavior is same as bad nands, just had same case, but one of two nand power rails was shorted by nand. Check both coils near u9080Leave a comment:

Ok, managed to find out correct way. Will write info here for future generation geeks
You can use attached JED file to 820-2915.
But if you want to use it on 820-2914, then you will get blue tint on screen in the end. To fix this, you have to change R9240 and R9242 with 0 Ohm Resistors.
Just tested on 820-2914 and i can confirm that this is correct way to do gpu delete on 820-2914. Have a nice day...
