Hi guys I need a help in repair of Sony Z50CR MB S1202-2 MB SONY MBX-266. It's not powering on I checked I get 19 volt on first input MOSFET which is pu4001 but it not given output voltage and I checked 3 and 5 voltage ic pu4103. Ic getting VCC 19 volt on pin number 16 but no voltage output on pin 7 and 24 means no 3.3 and 5 voltage comes. So I replace it with working mb ic and also replace battery charging ic But no result. What should I check now any expert legend help me I very appreciated. Thanks and ignore my bad english

Re: Power problem in Sony mbx-266
For this model it's very hard to find the exact schematic .
So it's very difficult to help you.
If PU4103 (RT8223M ? ) receive 19V why you have changed the charger ic ? and PU4001 receive 19V on drain but probably it's not driven from the IC.
PU4103 start only if on pin 18 ENC there is an enable signal .Last edited by jasko_jacker; 09-27-2018, 04:44 PM. -
Re: Power problem in Sony mbx-266
Have you done cmos reset?? Sony mb are notorious for that when 19v doesnt goes to pin5-8 of dc in mosfet.Comment

Re: Power problem in Sony mbx-266
On enable signal no voltage present and 19v present on PR4004 but pr4004 connected to directly DC Jack and in schematic pr4004 connected to pu4001 pin number 123Comment

by ChrissygizmoHello again everyone,
This is my latest mission, to try getting this Sony tv back to normal working order…
I've only just got it today, when you power it up everything is as should be, in fact it works perfectly for a few minutes then the screen starts getting horizontal lines on & eventually the full screen goes back, I will upload photos of the problem & also some photos of the board etc. You might notice that I'm busy trying the tape method, I'm not sure exactly where the clock lines are so I'm just guessing & hoping for the best lol . I've already tried... -
by crackedprintI have a strange fault on a Sony amplifier. The volume control varies the display from MIN, then 1 up to 30 and then MAX as expected. At MIN there is no sound. However, at 1 it is quite loud and increasing above 1 does not change the sound level.
I have tried a Cold Reset as per the service manual.
I have looked at the I2C clock and data to volume control chip IC501 (BD3499FV). Data is only sent to IC501 when the volume is set to MIN or 1. At any other setting no data is sent to IC501.
I have looked all the way through the service manual and tried many online...-

by theone111I have an LG Plasma TV 60PM6700 for the past ~12 years.
In the last ~3-4 months I have been having some issues.- Problem: It started with random picture disappearing (sound still worked).
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait a few seconds before turning it on again. - Problem: Then it got worse and the TV started to shut down and when turning on the no picture just sound.
