hey good evening,
i have this machine 820-0773 which i replaced uf400 cd3217b13 the machine works fine and charges on this port.On the UF500 it power on with this port but it does not charge the battery what strange even more when we plug this port and restart the machine it charges and when you take off the charger and re plug in the adapter it does'nt charge.i suspect the tbt rom bad.UF190 and UF090.
does anyone have these roms

yes it gradually goes to 212mA on all ports only one port fails to get 1.1v BMC ldo.
also is cd3215c00 same as cd3215c00Z as the board has cd3215c00 thinking to replace that one port which doesn’t have 1.1v ldo BMC with cd3315c00Z -

i have the same model 820-00850 stuck at 5v 212mA ,I get the following
PP3v3_g3h_rtc =3.3v all ports
PP3v3_upc_Xa_ldo =3.3V all the ports
pp1v8_upc_xa_ldoD=1.8v on all ports
pp1v8_slps2r = 1.8V on all ports
pp1v1_bmc_ldo-1.1v only in 3 ports the fourth port doesnt show up changed 2 cd3215c00 same issue
could it be the tbt rom for this.... -
ok finally i confirmed with another panel the problem is with the backlight inside the screen.Leave a comment:

hi i have the same issue with A2442, the resistor RP805 5V_s2_main the volateg was dropping and the impedance of ic was 15ohms which sure shot ic bad after replacing the 5V_s2 across the resistor RP805 was okay.The LUXE_ppvout now is 14V but still i dont see the backlight i see the apple logo for 2 sec and all blank while the laptop is still on.is 14V_okay for luxe_out.

I have this lg projector dlp and it has 3 RGB lcd modules when I switch on the unit I see only green screen no OSD nothing.just the green light remains on .can someone tell me what to look as most of the voltages are normal no shorts anywhere .is it the DMD chip bad or is it the leg engine bad

You right. This is the worst machine they have built as there is always corrosion on the ssd side so the dust accumulates that area and 90% of the time takes away the ssd and what makes it worse is they have glued the ssd with epoxy.Leave a comment:

I have this weird machine that came with power issue fixed the power supply now the machine boots up but the USB ports don't work.For some strange reason if I press Option and boot from pen drive I can use the usb all ports work.there is something that disables the usb when comes to login page. I reprogrammed the bios same problem.the ssd in this machine has Catalina and when I go to boot with high Serria usb bootable it gives me a cross that os not compatible with the machine.only Yosemite usb bootable works.So is there some terminal command that disables the USB ports.is it that... -
Mbp A2289 no video only backlight

i got this laptop mbp A2289 2020yr some strange problem I see only backlight come on which means the voltage to the panel is there. The laptop works very well on the external monitor.I have replaced another screen still blank display, also change lvds connector same issue.
then I remove the lvds connector from logic board clean it I saw display once after that same thing only backlight is on.anyone faced this issue

dell la-C361p no video power okay

so i got this dell xps 15-9550 la-c361p board and the power IC for vccgt was burnt AOZ5019, Replaced it i get all voltages cpu and also gpu voltage 0.9v and vccgt 0.7v.Now i believe this machine has common issues.it power on and then i can see keyboard backlight ok.Also when i take off the ram it gives me ram led error.another thing when i press D and power on my lcd gives a test RGB pattern.I have changed the bios, also i see activity on the oscilloscope the data input and output try to say the cpu wants to fire up.The intel me flash tool used is 11.0.0.1178 which i cant find .i... -
this model has a history of ssd nand power getting short tps62180 U9580 and it also takes away the nand chips you have top change all 4 if they are 512.you could check if you take off the nand power chip u9580. will restore your ppbus but the machine will be in COMA brain dead.Leave a comment:

a1278 820-3115 sleep led on continuously
hey all,
i have this board earlier it was dead no power i changed the smc and all worked fine.Then after 5 days the customer gave back with it stuck on sleep mode.
so i checked the rams then checked all voltages they are all fine.Put another smc and also programmed the bios.Still same issue.the funny part is when i remove the rams i get long beeps indicating no ram, but still the sleep led is on continuously.I get plt_rst 3.3V ok.also LPC_ad0 ,ad1 ad2 ad3 all communicating. also i see bios communicating.
I just narrow it to 2 issues now pch or cpu has anyone faced this problem... -

I have checked the battery cable all good as the battery charges well.generally this happens when some sensor is not reporting as the fans are too fast and cpu is really too hot without any process.I downgraded to Bigsur worked for 15mins without safe boot and again back to the same boot and shutdown.is there a way to disable the gpu.Leave a comment:

further i changed the battery same issue.I also changed the pmic again thinking that is bad. But this is soo stranged in safe mode the laptop works fine all devices work well wifi touchbar everything. it has to do something with the T2 rom.I put a blank T2 rom and went in dfu in apple configurator it updated /restore the the machine but the same thing happens.is there a virgin rom repository file i can use.Leave a comment:
