Mainboard consum 0,25AMP/ wont start , Please help

Hello, can somebody help me with this Device? ( its like a Notebook)
There are no schematics for this board avalabile, but ive tested some parts to change, but no reaction.

Normaly the device has an Autostart mechanisim (power on when 12V plug in).

I checked the board with laboratory power supply but i have allways the same issue the device wont start and consum not more then 0,25amps.

Normally when the device start it should consum about 1,4 – 1,6 Amps

The 12V, 3,3V and 1,6V are present on the board.
The device has a LED on front wich is flashing permanently.(no screen)

I tried t change several parts wich u can see in the PICs but no success, can anybody give me a note ?

NOTE :

On The Backside of the board is an NVIDIA T20MGS-SH-A4 ( I think Graphic , North / South / CPU all in ONE ) BGA wich i changed to.

Because there is no schematics, repairing this board may be too difficult and takes a full month or more. If you have time and if you are determined to do this repair, start by the first step: Find all the square-shape coils and report voltage on them. then, focus on ones that have no voltage and try finding the reason.

then, you can do some more steps.

@caspian many thanks for your help,

today i have measured all coils, and i see that the coil by V-IN has no power (i think its in short) see in the pics. When i disconnect the spoil i have 11,9V there but even if i connect the 12V are not present.

The other coils on PCB has power and work fine.

I tried to dissconnect other parts (like marked f parts ) to separate the circle but its still in short.

Also i have seen that the R422 Resistor should give 1,6 but when the Parts are connected i have only 0,6

Can somebody tell me what is the L10 ?? is it only a brigde ?

I also uploaded the Backside pic so (but i didnt see so much things in the back)

Can somebody help me to find the issue ?


@ BUDM no the board has no manually power on (starting porcess will beginn when connect vin)

Hello here an Update to my case.


today i concentrate my self to the near of the CPU because i think that the porblem mayee is on CPU V-CORE. (see on pic the measuring points)
ALL COILS are good.

The CPu is getting hot, but not so much and the device consum not more then 0,35 Amps , the rams are getting normal hot. (are they starting?)

i measured 1,5V on Crystal in the near of CPU and 3,2 V by caps and some resistors, but on right side of CPU are Resistors with no power, could be normal ? (see on pic)
Can somebody tell me wich part sends the reset signal to North South bridge ?

I have seen this video and try to find the fault with the consumption of board , is it possible ?

Can it be that the problem is in the sequence between secorndary power and to V-Core to CPU and is this method possible to find the issue?

Or can it be that is a bios issue ? (but bios should start by 0,85 AMPS consumption after north South brigde start like demonstrated in the video)

and can somebody tell me wich type of Flash 41A18 JWA07 is on the last pic and wich programmer can read /write is the best for it.

You need to work more on your solder skills i can se bad work also near r320 your solder may have short clean it
